In a Republic, actually
‘Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump says that if he does not win the Nov. 5 election, he will cry fraud and not accept the results - just as he did four years ago when he lost to Democratic President Joe Biden.

“If I lose - I’ll tell you what, it’s possible. Because they cheat. That’s the only way we’re gonna lose, because they cheat," Trump said at a Michigan rally in September.

A refusal by Trump to accept a victory by Democratic rival Kamala Harris could throw the United States into political instability at a time when the country is already deeply divided.
[...]
One key difference this time is that Trump does not have the presidential levers of power that he did in 2020. And new state and federal laws have been put in place to make it more difficult to influence election results.’

That doesn’t mean, of course, that Trump and Republicans won’t try again to overturn the election outcome or otherwise interfere with the process.

Can you blame him? The poor orange loser is looking hard at a jail sentence if he loses.

His only way to wriggle out of prison is to win and pardon himself. Damn the country and the Constitution.

You can darn well bet democrats will do the very same if Trump wins.

It is amazing that the Leftists here can read and write. They are apparently too young to remember 2020, the election when the biggest blockbuster October Surprise in history was suppressed vigorously by the U.S. Justice Department. The election when an internet billionaire spent half of a billion of his own money to troll the ghettos for Democrat votes (which is illegal). The election when, the first time, half the country was allowed to vote my mail and state laws and processes were changed willy-nilly by Democrat Attorney's General, all of which changes favored Biden and the Democrats.

You act as though there was no legitimate reason to question that election.

Are you stupid, evil, or what?

With Kamala’s collapse on Fox News and President Trump’s awesomeness at the Al Smith dinner, not to mention him surviving an assassination attempt, the election is over:

The winner losing 18 of 19 bellweather counties is absurdity of the finest sort.
