“Seventy percent of respondents, including roughly half of Democrats, agreed that Biden should not seek re-election.“

It seems unlikely Joe will be the Dem nominee on the ballot in November.

Why do half of Dems want him out when he is so sharp and everything is perfect in the country?

Leading in a poll where 16% are undecided (how can anyone be undecided at this point?) is kind of meaningless.

Here's the thing. Most people are not happy about this rematch. They didn't like this choice much 4 years ago, and they like it even less that this is what we are stuck with despite no real say so by the voters. (Sorry, declaring it all over after one primary and one caucus seems foolish, but that's where we are at.)

But eventually, that 16% is going to realize, "Yeah, Biden is old, and we are worried about that, but Trump is crazy and is getting crazier by the day."

wow, that is just amazing. Nobody has ever had that big a lead in the polls 10 months before the election and lost.

Intelligence would predict that margin should be more like 30 points. The only reason to support Biden is if you're benefitting from some of his corruption. The reality is, Biden and his party are well on their way to destroying our country. MAGA.

you seem worried joe.....

you seem worried joe.....

That our fucked up system could allow Trump to be president despite him being totally unfit for office?

Um. Yeah. because that happened, even after the people loudly said "NO".

They said "NO" even louder the next time, and the guy tried to stage a coup.

Trump shows what happens when a bad system meets a guy who doesn't think the rules apply to him.

The country is perfect and Joe’s mental health is perfect…..SO WHY DO HALF OF DEMS NOT WANT HIM TO RUN?

WEIRD.

Why would you bench the starting QB of an undefeated football team?

EVERYTHING IS PERFECT.
JOE IS IN PERFECT MENTAL HEALTH.
HALF OF DEMS WANT HIM OUT.

Bizarre. It is almost as if the Extreme Biden Cult Fucks are lying about the condition of the country and Biden’s mental health.

A lot of people have a valid concern that he's too old. We have the same concern about Trump, who is definitely showing signs of declining mental health.

The difference is, Biden surrounds himself with people who respect democracy and are reasonably good at their jobs.

Trump has denounced the people who kept him out of trouble during his (hopefully only) term as the "Deep State" and vows to appoint sycophants the next time.

That's like saying the Titanic was making excellent time until it hit the iceberg.

It was Trump's job to avoid the iceberg, and he didn't.

Would he, though? The polls showed he was trailing Biden (when Biden's own campaign was floundering at the time) before Covid hit.

I would argue Covid helped his candidacy, because it gave him a chance to look presidential. He blew it, of course, because being a malignant narcissist, he couldn't generate the empathy required to understand people were suffering.

The BLM riots definitely gave him a boost, because stoopid white people got scared and didn't want to admit the cop who lives down the block is probably a racist thug.
