From all indications Jimmy Carter was a "good" person, but he was a lousy President.

It would be an interesting conversation among people who actually give a **** about MORALITY*, to analyze Trump's public life from the standpoint of, is he a prolific sinner or not?

Aside from a few cases of adultery (for which the relevant spouses have forgiven him), where are the sins? He doesn't lie a tenth as much as, say, Chuck Schumer, or Schiff, or Pelosi. Or Biden & Harris, for that matter.

The millions (it seems) of business people who claim that Trump defrauded him are essentially all part of the cabal of businesses in the NYC area, where unethical behavior, fraudulent claims, and short-paying your creditors are as common as breathing. Did he "sin" when he over-valued his assets for loan purposes and under-valued them for Real Estate Tax purposes? Does any business-person do any different? Not really.

The scores of accusations of inappropriate "touching" all have something in common: they are anecdotal and unverified. The "rape" accusation that was at the center of his slander trial in New York was total bullshit, and everyone knows it is bullshit. It is not even conceivable that he did such a thing, and nobody noticed.

We are all sinners. I don't think he's any worse than the typical successful businessman or politician. Better than some, worse than others.
