Trump Is Suddenly Too Old

Trump Is Suddenly Too Old

23 Jul 2024 ~~ By David Strom

A month ago Joe Biden, at 81, was fit as a fiddle, sharp as a tack, and able to leap tall buildings at a single bound. Any dissent about these assertions was mere "ageism," you bigot!
Now that Biden is out of the race, Trump is far too old to be president and should be rejected on that basis alone. You needn't even think about his supposed admiration for Hitler, plans for reeducation camps, and desire to round up MSNBC hosts.
Sadly, Trump is just too old to be president.
How times have changed.
Very quickly. The mainstream media talking points have turned on a dime.

~Snip~
Trump may not be fit, but he is tough. He took a bullet and sprang back up to yell, "Fight!" This line of attack isn't just hypocritical, it is moronic.

"The Gaslighting Media"

The real truth is that people grow old differently. In Joe Biden's case Alzheimer's caught up to him sooner than most.
Trump on the other hand a 78 plays golf and is capable of making decisions that Biden never could.
As the author Strom pointed out, the hypocritical Quisling Joe's frailty and mental deterioration Media has covered for the last three and half years.
Didn't we hear it coming from the Neo-Marxists daily as they lied knowing what the rest of America knew that Joe was failing both physically and mentally badly.

How come the so called "liberal" media has stopped talking about 80 being too old to be president? Especially with JD Vance 1st in line if Trump dies

Former President Donald Trump declined to say whether he thinks Sen. JD Vance of Ohio would be ready to serve as vice president should they win November’s election, with Trump instead saying it doesn’t matter.

“I’ve always had great respect for him but… historically, the vice president in terms of the election does not have any impact, I mean virtually any impact,” h

Yea but you're 80 years old is what she should have said. Do Republicans take the position of POTUS seriously?

The Dems are gleefully turning all the ugly, hateful comments about Biden's age over the last couple of years back on the GQP.

Maybe the GQP should have spent that effort, time and money talking about more positive things.

Trump is letting Vance do the heavy lifting. That could backfire.

Donald Trump has been slacking on the campaign trail, leaving the election in the hands of his deeply unpopular running mate.

Trump must be too old. He's not campaigning like he did in 2015. He's the oldest person to ever run for President.

polls showing voters are now more concerned about Trump’s age, physical health and mental acuity than they are about Harris’. A Monmouth University poll released Wednesday found just 47% of voters were confident Trump had the “mental and physical stamina” to be president, compared to 57% who said the same of Harris.

Not to mention his profound psychological issues.

Donald Trump’s approach is too unhinged for even his allies.

Donald Trump seems incapable of staying on message, and it’s seriously beginning to worry Republican lawmakers, according to a report NOTUS published Thursday.

Trump’s campaign attempted to debut a smaller messaging event on Wednesday, as part of a new strategy to get the president to stay on topic. Trump predictably detoured into his typical racist fearmongering and personal attacks against his opponent

He's a child. He has no self control, and he lacks the intellect or temperament to do anything about it.

He's unwell, and has been for a long time.

Either trumps losing it or he’s just dumb. Did you hear his latest speech? He’s educating idiots

They’re just getting acclamented,” Trump said. “You know what that means.”
“No,” Colbert fired back. “No, I don’t know what that means ― ’cuz that’s not a word!”
Colbert went back to the video to hear Trump’s attempt to define it.
“Acclamented. They’re getting used to a society that really goes too far,” Trump explained.

Yeah, I saw that.

He's not particularly intelligent and he's mentally unwell. He's made it to where he is by the sheer, overwhelming force of his pathology.

Assuming we make it through this, this period will be studied for a long time, and it will be a cautionary tale for a long time.

Don’t think it’s over when he goes away. This is just the latest version of republicans push to ban abortion and break the middle class. Tax breaks for corporations. Global polluters. Illegal employers. Widening the gap between rich and rest of us. Not fixing healthcare.

Kamala, unions, liberal government will fix the middle class. Not republicans.

Y'know, even before the issues, I think what we need is AT LEAST for them to detach themselves from this alternate universe.

I don't know how that is accomplished with MAGA media pounding on them 24/7/365, but I do think it has to happen.

Look how long it took them to finally admit bush lied us into iraq. Trump said it in 08, they wouldn’t admit it. Trump said it in 2016, they still won’t admit it. But they voted for a man who said it. Close enough to admitting it for me.

They still won’t admit bush stole 2000 even though trump tried using many of his tactics to steal 2000.

They still insist it was them who freed the slaves. And gave us civil rights.

It's so true Trump has lost it. Let's compare his answer to immigration in 2016 to his answer now

“Well first of all she wants to give amnesty which is a disaster, very unfair to all of the people waiting in line for many, many, years. We need strong borders,” said Trump when asked about how his plan on immigration compared to that of his opponent Hillary Clinton in the final 2016 debate.

Compared to now

“They’re eating the dogs, the people that came in. They’re eating the cats. They’re eating, they’re eating the pets of the people that live there,”

Trump’s mental acuity has been called into question on several occasions during his campaign.
The former president has rambled in response to a question on child care, has gone on rants about Hannibal Lecter, sharks and boats along with spewing a head-spinning argument on bacon and renewable energy.
CNN panelist Ryan Girdusky, a former campaign staffer for Trump’s running mate JD Vance, said Harris threw Trump off “tremendously” by getting under his skin but his “signs of aging” weren’t at the level of Biden’s debate performance.
He later argued that Trump has an ability not to be judged “like every other politician.”
″[It’s] the fact that he was a celebrity for a long time and celebrities, they just, they can sit there and say things that are a little outrageous and you say, ‘OK, it’s fine whatever,’” Girdusky said.

This is at the heart of my concern about the last eight years, and what this period has said about the condition of this country. I've said all along that this has never been about Trump. It has been about us.

We have become so shallow and we have dropped our standards so far that we can consider actually consider voting for a person like this. Without even batting an eye. Indecent, immoral, vulgar, juvenile, ignorant, undignified, unpresidential. His cabinet says so. His staff says so. His lawyers say so. But he puts on a great show, and that's what matters.

This is what I mean when I say I learned in 2016 that this country isn't what I thought it was.

Trump's behavior the past 50 years should have been disqualifying. It's sad the American people would vote for Trump over Hillary Clinton. Or possibly Harris/Biden/Walz.

Now I see how it happened in Germany. I talk to a lot of good/dumb people. They just FEEL Trump will be better for the economy. It's fucking WEIRD.

Yeah. This period has told me a lot about history. It makes more sense now.

Not the way I would have wanted to learn that.

Former President Trump said in a statement Monday he was proud of his role in overturning Roe v. Wade, but stopped short of supporting a full nationwide ban on abortion. But some of the former president's supporters, and also President Biden, believe Trump would sign such a ban if it made its way to his desk during a second term.

Do you believe that? His supporters and the Supreme Court justices want to make abortion murder. Fact.

Hitler tried to start a riot and overthrow the government

Bush and Roger Stone started a riot and stopped the recount, turning over the decision of "who won" to the right wing Supreme Court. If you are unaware, google Brooks Brother Riots.

Trump wanted to try something similar. If only Mike Pence went along.
