The only way you could even begin to say inflation was the lowest level in 4 years is because number 1, you have to remove the costs of food and gas to arrive at that.
Also, number 2, Biden has been in office nearly 4 years, so it's not much to brag about it being at it's lowest point in 4 years when inflation was lower 4 years ago when he took office. Let's say inflation was 9% from 3 months after Biden took office and he now has it around 6%, which is the lowest in 4 years. It's still 300% higher than it was when Trump left office at 1.9%.

It would be great if inflation was lower than it was when Trump was in office, but inflation has been higher than at any time under Trump. Inflation has been so bad that the fed had to cut interest rates to make the economy look better to help Kamala.

I went back and compared cumulative inflation over four years for Biden and Trump.

Trump's cumulative inflation was 7.8%

Guess what Biden's cumulative inflation rate was?

Answer: 16.4%

So Biden's inflation rate is nearly 3 times higher than Trump's.

My income has risen only 3-6% since Trump left office, but inflation has gone up 16.4% in that same time.

Inflation is at 2.4%. That is much better than the $7 trillion Trump added to the deficit!
