Trunp's capitulation to Putin is intended to make Ukraine weak, and facilitate a Russian victory in Ukraine. There may be a peace deal along the way, but the Russians will launch another invasion as soon as they feel ready. Trump will not lend American power to preventing it, nor will he help Ukraine.

Putin's stated objective is to conquer Ukraine and use it as a stepping stone to conduct a new cold war, and try and intimidate Eastern Europe back into the Russian orbit.

IF his current behavior is any indication, Trump will support that as well. Right now, he's trying to serve Ukraine up to Moscow on a plate.

That will set the stage for the next World War.

Trump, by aiding the Russians now, and aiding Russia by constantly attacking and undermining NATO, will divide the US from NATO (a long term Russian goal)
