Did I write I lost any freedoms? I wrote they are under assault. Those freedoms at risk include attacks on our elections, the press, and the rule of law. They are all related to what makes this country great. At any rate, any attack upon our democracy is an attack upon not just my freedom but the freedom of all American citizens.
We'll see how it shakes out. Some dems oppose the effort because it would pit their two top fundraisers against each other for the nomination in the shakeup. I already voted against it because of my rural disenfranchisement concerns. I can be pretty progressive but to me farmers really cannot and should not be shut out of having a voice even if they are currently MAGA scum.
