"Trump has no real mandate for what he is planning": The push for Christian nationalism may backfire

Always the first cultist ^^ to be a humam shield for the orange rapist. Every thread

Perhaps we just listen to what Trump says and take him seriously. You apparently either ignore him or sane wash him in your own image.

Which of the following should we ignore:

Tariffs on Canada & Mexico?
Huge Tariffs on China?
Shutting down the FDIC?
Prosecuting his political opponents?
Appointing a nutcase to be secretary of HHS?
All the other grossly unqualified people he's nominated for his cabinet?
His promise to end the war in Ukraine in one day?
His professed disregard for the Constitution?

If you do not take what he says seriously, then why would you vote for him?
Poor baby.
Watcha gonna do?

Meh. Your mischaracterizations mean nothing.

Continue to scream at the lake if it makes you feel better. :yapyapyapf:

I understand. You have no answer to my questions and blatantly ignore what Trump has said.

Continue to remain in your delusional shell if it makes you feel better.

He does have a mandate he won the popular and the electoral bigly! Not one Christian wants a theocracy!
Many Christians want the functional equivalent of a theocracy, but they have deluded themselves into believing that what they want, bibles in schools and the like, is not a theocracy. Humans fool themselves all the time.

Virtually all the people Trump has nominated for high office are Zionists, as Trump himself is. Perhaps the only exception is Kash Patel. What the Zionists want for the US--complete subservience to Israel--is the functional equivalent of a theocracy.

What is it about "christian nationalism" that the left hates and fears most? Is it Christian or nationalism? Maybe it's the 1st Amendment.

What is wrong with a bible in a school, what scares you about someone with faith? Not one Christian I know of wants to be subservient to Israel

You can count on Trump signing a Federal Ban on abortion, not that he cares about it, but he'll need Johnson's cooperation.

Besides that, Trump couldn't care less about the Christian Right. He got what he wants from them. He'll throw them under the bus in the blink of an eye.

Trump's only true goal is to establish himself as emperor and initialize a feudal/fascist socio-economic order.
Do you realize how hysterical you sound the Supreme court already decided it was a States issue

‘Trump has promised to be a dictator on “day one” of his administration. Based on his already-announced plans and those in process, Trump, like other autocrats and authoritarians, means what he says. His words and statements should be understood both literally and figuratively. Trump’s (and the Republican Party’s and the “conservative” movement’s) models of leadership are Vladimir Putin and Viktor Orbán. Trump and his MAGA presidential administration and movement will attempt to remake American society in their mold — and do so very quickly.

Trump’s White Christian voters are the base of his support. He would not have been elected without them. Professor Ryan Burge, an associate professor of political science at Eastern Illinois University, told The Salt Lake Tribune, “It’s hard to overcome the white God gap…in a place like Pennsylvania or Michigan and Wisconsin.” White Christians are now literally and metaphorically Trump’s biblical "arrows" and "armor." For example, on Jan. 6 White Christian extremists were in the vanguard of the attack on the Capitol and attempt to end America’s multiracial pluralistic democracy. Christian extremists also play a central role in the right-wing paramilitary and “militia” movement more broadly. Research by Robert P. Jones of PRRI shows that White Christians (specifically, members of the White Christian Right and Christian Nationalists) are more likely to be authoritarian and to endorse the use of political violence than are other Americans.’

It's the same as it was in 2016 – the rise of white grievance politics, racist replacement theory, and the authoritarianism of the Christo-fascist right.
No one is listening to this crap except intolerant assholes. So you know.

That's not exactly true. Polls show Trump has majority support for most of his policies.

Do you realize how hysterical you sound the Supreme court already decided it was a States issue

The Supreme court did not decide that it was a States issue. They overturned Roe, which meant that it became a States issue by default, not by dictate.

Maybe if you paid attention to your fellow nutcases, you'd know that there are quite a lot that want a Federal Ban.

But hell, you folks don't even pay attention to what Trump says, of course you don't pay attention to your fellow nutcases.

Each one seems to exist in their own unique delusional shell.

No one is going to push for a federal abortion ban! I wish they would except for rape, incest, and medical emergency. However anyone with a brain the size of a walnut, kind of like yourself knows that evil Demonrats would then call every abortion one of those three things

Obviously, you cannot answer my questions.

If you had a brain, you'd be as concerned as I am, but instead remain in delusional denial.
The only thing I'm concerned about is the leftists being kicked out.

It's the same as it was in 2016
So what does that mean to you??
the rise of white grievance politics
No.
racist replacement theory
.. The President who signed a historic prison reform bill and made life for minorities better??? That President is .. a racist??

and the authoritarianism of the Christo-fascist right.
.. The same President that just partied with a trans woman at Mara Lago?

Many Christians I know are proudly subservient to Israel. That is, they happily accept the OT line that the Jews are God's Chosen People. It extends to the political area as they proudly support the genocide being committed by Bibi. The Christian GOP flew the Israeli Flag at their convention. The US Congress gave Bibi the butcher 50+ standing ovations.

The First Amendment is clear that the federal government must remain neutral on religious matters. It cannot establish a religion, nor can it prohibit the free exercise thereof. So bibles are fine in a private school, but they are not fine in public schools. Many at Fox News would like to see that changed. By chance I ran into an old friend, police officer type, and he claimed that things would be better if the bible and religion were taught in the public schools.

Why would Christians be subservient to Israel who rejected the messiah, we do understand that they are God's chosen people! Genocide? Surely you meant to say self defense against the arabs

SORRY, no way is Trump interested in Christian Nationalism, They helped him win,
he will play along Until they get in the way
Of his OWN plans.

SOME Christians, especially those who were brought up reading the Schofield Bible, truly believe that the Jews are above themselves in rank. They believe the Jews are superior to the Goyim. They have been conditioned by Zionist propaganda.

Some Christians are not. They know the difference between right and wrong, and they rightfully recognize that what's going on in Gaza is very much an attempt at genocide. You don't, but some do.
