"Trump has no real mandate for what he is planning": The push for Christian nationalism may backfire

Is it just me, or are their claims getting more desperate and absurd as the days go on?
If they were a little more likeable I would almost feel sorry for them. Almost.

It must be torture for them now, as the days count down inexorably to Inauguration Day, knowing they are utterly helpless to stop Trump from taking the reigns once again.

The volume will rise, the doomsaying will get more and more strident with each passing day, and it will not move the needle one bit.

Perhaps we just listen to what Trump says and take him seriously. You apparently either ignore him or sane wash him in your own image.

Which of the following should we ignore:

Tariffs on Canada & Mexico?
Huge Tariffs on China?
Shutting down the FDIC?
Prosecuting his political opponents?
Appointing a nutcase to be secretary of HHS?
All the other grossly unqualified people he's nominated for his cabinet?
His promise to end the war in Ukraine in one day?
His professed disregard for the Constitution?

If you do not take what he says seriously, then why would you vote for him?

Meh. Your mischaracterizations mean nothing.

Continue to scream at the lake if it makes you feel better. :yapyapyapf:

Trying to intertwine politics and Christianity weakens and hurts Christianity.

‘Trump has promised to be a dictator on “day one” of his administration. Based on his already-announced plans and those in process, Trump, like other autocrats and authoritarians, means what he says. His words and statements should be understood both literally and figuratively. Trump’s (and the Republican Party’s and the “conservative” movement’s) models of leadership are Vladimir Putin and Viktor Orbán. Trump and his MAGA presidential administration and movement will attempt to remake American society in their mold — and do so very quickly.

Trump’s White Christian voters are the base of his support. He would not have been elected without them. Professor Ryan Burge, an associate professor of political science at Eastern Illinois University, told The Salt Lake Tribune, “It’s hard to overcome the white God gap…in a place like Pennsylvania or Michigan and Wisconsin.” White Christians are now literally and metaphorically Trump’s biblical "arrows" and "armor." For example, on Jan. 6 White Christian extremists were in the vanguard of the attack on the Capitol and attempt to end America’s multiracial pluralistic democracy. Christian extremists also play a central role in the right-wing paramilitary and “militia” movement more broadly. Research by Robert P. Jones of PRRI shows that White Christians (specifically, members of the White Christian Right and Christian Nationalists) are more likely to be authoritarian and to endorse the use of political violence than are other Americans.’

It's the same as it was in 2016 – the rise of white grievance politics, racist replacement theory, and the authoritarianism of the Christo-fascist right.
/——/ What mandate does Biden have to pardon 1,500 + the whole Hunter disaster, then selling wall parts for pennies on the dollar, more money to Iran, all a big FU to America?

What are Christian nationalists going to do?
Hmm, if only they had put out a long report explaining exactly what they want to do.

They could have called it Project 2025, or something.

🙄

Pathetic sealion trolling

The cult often confuses their own cultishness with that of the rest of America.

Yes, your cult definitely does that.

The rest of America voted, and your cult lost. :itsok:
Oh my. What a low IQ attempt.

You cultists assume you are normal. You aren't.

So you asse others behave as you do and have for the last 4 years.

Very simple.

Your trolls are as tiresome as always.

77.3 Million Americans do not share your TDS delusions.

I know that is hard for you to accept, but it's true.

You are mistaken to assume all Trump voters are in your embarrassing cult.

Mandate means nothing. As Barry Soetoro profoundly put it, "Elections have consequences." Nothing more need be said.

Making 12-15% of the Biden voters from last time disappear is dark magic and a new witch hunt should be convened
