You are confused about "disgraceful".
I regret if I was unclear for the above poster,
"Flash".
However, I would suggest that a careful reading of my earlier post would reveal that it wasn't my avatar that termed Don Trump's actions before, during , and after the insurrection ,
"disgraceful".
More accurately, it was the good Senator from West Virginia, Capito, and the good Senator from Kentucky, McConnell, who described Don Trump's actions --and inactions ---
"disgraceful". (see my post earlier in this thread, #495, to verify.)
...............................................................................................................
A couple more items:
1. First, and I do not wish to over-drive the nail on poor poster '
Flash' but.....but he may also wish to take note of what the former North Carolina governor stated last Friday, the 12th, about the man who appointed her U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations,
Nicki Haley.
To wit:
"We need to acknowledge he let us down," "He went down a path he shouldn’t have, and we shouldn’t have followed him, and we shouldn’t have listened to him. And we can’t let that ever happen again."
2. And then the poster, who has repeated, hell, even started this thread, and who thinks Don Trump was "
exonerated", the avatar,
Nostro.
Well, I'd suggest that may be a minority view.
In fact, personally, I think it is a silly fantasy to think of 'exoneration' in this context.
Simply reading what McConnell stated, what Capito stated, what Portman stated.......and what Nicki Haley said, hardly sounds like an
'exoneration' anyone could be proud of.
Not to mention 57% of the U.S. Senate said he was guilty.
I think an argument can be made that Don Trump was "
exonerated".......like OJ Simpson was "
exonerated".
IMHO
