Trump has authorized strikes on more nations than any other recent President

I was wondering what that dude thought!

no
No, I was not.
I’m heartened by the fact that a majority of Americans oppose yet another war for Israehell and most have changed their opinion of your nation of Israel.

At least a majority of Americans aren’t dumb fuvks like you.

MIGA!!!!

The Trumpsters are once again demonstrating how constant shallow, binary thinking can make a person look foolish and hypocritical.

They've had to go from "no more wars" and "The Peace President" to "well, some wars are okay, if Trump says so". Yeah. Foolish and hypocritical.

IT DEPENDS. Life is complicated. Stuff happens. Going through life with a binary worldview is not smart.

Will they fully understand what I just wrote? Nope.

Many Trumpers are dumb fvcks. That’s an understatement. However many have left the cult, thanks to Don acting against all his campaign promises. So, they aren’t all hypocrites.

You are dealing with people who, like Eastern Europeans, have been under the yoke of authoritarianism for decades.

People like that are drawn to Representative government because they know what authoritarian government is like first hand.
When they had the last coup in Iran, by the people, they went from one authoritarian government to the next.
Trump is talking about someone, from the current government, who is more moderate, to lead the county. That is still an authoritarian government.

The secular left thought they were going to go to a representative government and the Islamists eliminated them.

Do you have a link to your statement that Trump is talking about someone from the current government taking over? Is it as a caretaker before elections or something else?

Get out the Vaseline and the crowbars, we need to get Mac's ego through the door again.

Trump has authorized strikes on more nations than any other recent President

🇺🇸

During Trump’s first presidency, U.S. military action included counterterrorism strikes, punitive missile attacks, and high-profile targeted operations. These included:

1. Syria
Cruise missile strikes on the Shayrat Airbase in April 2017 in response to a chemical weapons attack.

2. Iraq
While much of U.S. action occurred in cooperation with broader counter-ISIS operations not started by Trump, his administration continued and expanded strikes on ISIS targets that had originated before his term.

Most notably, in January 2020, Trump ordered the strike that killed Iranian General Qassem Suleimani at Baghdad Airport — a unilateral military action.

3. Yemen (limited first-term involvement)

Early in 2017 Trump authorized the Raid on Yakla — a raid against al-Qaeda in Yemen (January 2017, shortly after he took office).

Note on other drone strikes:

The administration also conducted drone strikes in places like Pakistan against militant targets, but these are typically classified broader counter-terrorism operations and not always publicized as standalone “countries struck.”

🇺🇸

Since returning to office in January 2025, President Trump has authorized a far broader range of military operations — often without explicit congressional authorization — across multiple regions. Major strikes include:

4. Somalia — airstrikes targeting ISIS affiliates (Feb 2025).
5. Iraq — precision strikes against ISIS in March 2025.
6. Yemen — extensive strikes on Houthi forces (March–May 2025).
7. Iran — large-scale air and missile strikes against Iranian nuclear sites and broader military targets (June 2025; followed by a major coordinated campaign in early 2026).
8. Nigeria — strikes against ISIS-linked targets in Dec 2025.
9. Syria — strikes on ISIS and related targets in Syria (Dec 2025–2026).
10. Venezuela — a U.S. raid/strike in Jan 2026 that resulted in the capture of President Maduro.

Bout time we fought the bad guys.

Do you honestly believe Iran has a democracy

Wow.
Absolutely not. Trump is talking about a moderate member of the ruling group to lead Iran. That will not be a democracy. He is not about spreading democracy. He punishes countries who don't do what he wants, but he could care less about democracy. He is kissing the ass of many authoritarian governments and reducing our relationships with the democratic countries of the world whild moving the US towards an authoritarian government

Right now we left the Venezuelan government intact, and the end goal is likely for them to have free, heavily monitored elections to let the people decide. I doubt the Iranians would take that as an acceptable "out" so likely we will need someone like the Shah to step in as a caretaker government.

What if the people of Iran do not want that? They did not like the Shah.

Those people are long gone, either through natural causes, or for the lefties who revolted with the Islamists, killed by the Islamists.

Right now the current Shah pretender seems to be the focal point for the opposition.

47 years of appeasement and "diplomacy" with the most evil Regime in modern history has brought us to this point. 47 years of kick the can and pass the buck and Obama's empowerment allowed the Iranian cancer to metastasize. Spare us your finger wagging Mac.

.

I was hanging out with Persians between 1979 and about 2005, and they all loved the Shah, and despised the Ayatollah and the Mullahs.

.
Why didn't they revolt. When the shah left, the people of Iran had the same opportunity they have now. They ended up with the Ayatollah
Plus, a group of persians, you hung out with, does not represent a statistically significant population to make any conclusions.

Trump said they had some members of the Iran government they identified as possible people they could turn to after the Ayatollah was gone, but they have all been killed in the recent bombings. I found that ironic and crazy.

We will see what Iran ends up with. I don't think anyone knows for sure. You cannot have any control of regime change unless you have boots on the ground.

It's called leaving your options open.

Boots on the ground by outsiders aren't needed if the people themselves provide the boots.
