Trump has authorized strikes on more nations than any other recent President

🇺🇸

During Trump’s first presidency, U.S. military action included counterterrorism strikes, punitive missile attacks, and high-profile targeted operations. These included:

1. Syria
Cruise missile strikes on the Shayrat Airbase in April 2017 in response to a chemical weapons attack.

2. Iraq
While much of U.S. action occurred in cooperation with broader counter-ISIS operations not started by Trump, his administration continued and expanded strikes on ISIS targets that had originated before his term.

Most notably, in January 2020, Trump ordered the strike that killed Iranian General Qassem Suleimani at Baghdad Airport — a unilateral military action.

3. Yemen (limited first-term involvement)

Early in 2017 Trump authorized the Raid on Yakla — a raid against al-Qaeda in Yemen (January 2017, shortly after he took office).

Note on other drone strikes:

The administration also conducted drone strikes in places like Pakistan against militant targets, but these are typically classified broader counter-terrorism operations and not always publicized as standalone “countries struck.”

🇺🇸

Since returning to office in January 2025, President Trump has authorized a far broader range of military operations — often without explicit congressional authorization — across multiple regions. Major strikes include:

4. Somalia — airstrikes targeting ISIS affiliates (Feb 2025).
5. Iraq — precision strikes against ISIS in March 2025.
6. Yemen — extensive strikes on Houthi forces (March–May 2025).
7. Iran — large-scale air and missile strikes against Iranian nuclear sites and broader military targets (June 2025; followed by a major coordinated campaign in early 2026).
8. Nigeria — strikes against ISIS-linked targets in Dec 2025.
9. Syria — strikes on ISIS and related targets in Syria (Dec 2025–2026).
10. Venezuela — a U.S. raid/strike in Jan 2026 that resulted in the capture of President Maduro.

He's bringing the world back into balance.

You are welcome.

This is what fascist dictators do, Trump is no different – engage in illegal military operations to deflect from the regime’s incompetence, corruption, and crimes.
Trump has always wanted to be a war time president.

Why? Because he's a deranged malignant narcissist.

hmm. He inherited Somalia, Iraq, Yemen and Syria. He didnt have to continue them I guess but it's a bit spurious to say he authored the attacks since they were on going operations when he became President. Did Obama author the occupation of Iraq? We certainly occupied it while he was President.

The Democrats have always believed that. Up until 2001, they started every single one!

As I said, you are not the brightest bulb in the bunch but with some work you can do better.
You have to appreciate the range of excuses they're making.

Even some MAGA are admitting it. What we have here is the dregs, the bottom of the barrel.

The military action is up for debate, with arguments on both sides, as with most issues. But their mindless, shameless sycophancy is not.

How do we end up with a democratic government or any government of the people?

You are dealing with people who, like Eastern Europeans, have been under the yoke of authoritarianism for decades.

People like that are drawn to Representative government because they know what authoritarian government is like first hand.
