Trump: Fascist or Democratic leader?

It’s one of my constitutional god given rights.

You can opine, you can't decide for others.

All you can do is vote how you want things to be by voting for people that agree with you.

Ok, Round 2 of the Trump circus has begun. I've made the observation that Trump is a Populist Fascist leader. While being a bit in the gray area when it comes to regulations, he fits many of the other fascist attributes to a "T". The deregulation does make sense given he is a private businessman and that helps his personal enrichment game.

This thread is to point out Trumps fascist attributes and for those who think he is all about freedom and democracy to defend their position.

We are only a couple weeks in and we are seeing my first Fascist point being excellently highlighted. Recess Appointments. A tactic to bypass the constitutional power of Congress to advise and consent for cabinet picks. The all powerful Trump does not respect this process and is threatening to steam roll it.

Is that Fascist or Democratic in your mind??

Any other examples y'all want to point out... please go right ahead.
Recess Appointments make someone fascist? Since when?

I also don't think there is a difference anymore between being a Demcrat leader and a Fascsit, the party is now Demofascsit.

Trump is a Republican leader, and leading our Republican based on the Constitutional norms are country was founded on. Recess Appointments, are allowed in the Constitution, and in fact George Washington himself had the first one...every President since, including Obama and Xiden have made recess appointments.

What's weird is how the Demafacsit think that when someone outside the cult does it, it's "Facsist" -- that screams projection.

He doesn’t actually care about deregulation.

But Wall Street and Big Oil do. And helped buy him.

Recess appointments are Trump’s attempt to get around the Constitution by bullying the Senate into abandoning its Constitutional duty to advise and consent.

He wants his henchmen rubber stamped.

Yes, using parlimentary tricks to evade the Constitution is facism at work.’

They are the kind of games that the Nazis played in order to consolidate Hitler’s power.

Purging the military and the civil service on purely ideological grounds are also on Trump’s list

We realize that your ilk really does want a dictator, and an end to democracy.

Real Americans will do what we can to stand in the way,

Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/ FASH-iz-əm) is a far-right, authoritarian, and ultranationalist political ideology and movement,[1][2][3] characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation or race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy.
Imo Trump's greatest desire it to be worshipped, but ending elections would be contrary to that. He no doubt will try to make it harder for dems to vote.

I’ve seen enough to know exactly the kind of leader he is.

Go ahead, tell us. You've seen enough and . . . . ?
Spit it out, man! Give us your observations and evidence!

Do we are do we not operate on democratic principles? Thats how a constitutional republic operates
No. We operate in a variety of manners, by design, to limit the prospect that the dangers of democracy don’t undermine our form of government or the liberties and freedoms of the people.

Our Constitutional republic makes very limited use of democracy, in reality. We elect our reps via a democratic style election. But having reps doesn’t mean that the majority will gets put into effect.

You really should know this already.

Is that Fascist or Democratic in your mind??
Neither, really.

He's a de facto fascist because of his natural authoritarian impulses, but it's those around him (like Stephen Miller and Steve Bannon) who are the ideologues. Trump doesn't know shit about history, other than what he's supposedly read about Hitler.

He's not really Democratic, in that his only concern is what validates and glorifies him as being "strong". He's not ideological, he's not political. He's just profoundly needy, weak and desperate for approval and validation. He'll be that way until his last breath.
