That article isn't analyzing it the same way as Trump surely meant it. The way I see it, they're comparing tax per GDP and tax per capita. However, in terms of raw tax revenue, the US is definitely the highest. According to the data set they were quoting, US brings in four times as much taxes as the number two, Germany. Big China is not even in that list.

Dumbass, the US economy is the size of EU COMBINED. Only the low informed (read GOP voter), "thinks" ANY economists measures a nations taxes in ANYWAY but GDP is a moron!

The US has high published tax rates. But effective taxes are very low due to worthless loopholes for cronies like "carried interest", "CRT", TIFF, etc. We need to cut the loopholes & lower the published tax rate table.

Workers pay heavy taxes through payroll, income, sales, property, excise, state, etc. Walstreet Corps actually pay very little tax or none at all, regardless of the published rate table, they are subsidized by workers. Workers pay so much that they are taxed out of jobs.

Do you know of another Country that brings in 3 Trillion in Taxes?
China had 1.8 Trillion in 2013 and they have 1.36 billion people compared to USA with 318 million.
So yes he is right, the USA brings in more Taxes than any other nation.

Come on Americans, why would you want to pay MORE of your paycheck to government, when they waste 1/3 of what you send them?

If the feds got their stuff under control, 1000 bucks would help them, and you could pocket 1000 bucks and it would be BETTER!
