Trump starts a war with Iran.

Actually, we went to war with the Mullahs and IRGC.

Actually, it is the UK who is damaging the economy as it was their dropping of the insurance of those tankers that really ground them to a halt + the UK's dragging their feet on even coming to help police the Strait.

he lifts sanctions from the very nation he starts the war with. I mean -- it's mindboggling stuff.

Is it really? We went to war with Iran over:

1. Their murdering possibly as many as 100,000 protesters just for complaining about the tyranny.
2. Their continued threats and aggression developing nuclear weapons.
3. Their continuous and escalating funding or terrorism and war throughout the ME and world.

We didn't go to war with the oil, nor did we intend to inflict economic and energy damage around the globe. So why not lift sanctions on oil, at least until the Strait is fully open and oil flowing again?

If the Island is seized, the very first thing Iran will do is destroy all things oil related. There's like a self-destruct button nearby.

The island is close enough to the Iranian coast to be targeted by drones and artillery, which is what they will then do.

. . . and since we have seen so far the global establishment has no intention of de-escalating this, the Americans will consider landing on the coast, as that is the next step in the escalation ladder. These planners don't have any idea, they believe in the sunk cost fallacy.

. . . and once American troops take the coast...
