Biden has not been able to change the tax code and therefore it will continue until some compromise with the Republicans happens. It will not happen while the Far Right is in control. The Far Right are the rich and the ones supporting (or being handled by) the rich.

If Trump takes over, it will not only continue but get worse, given that he wants to give the rich even more tax cuts.

He inherited a growing economy and with Congress cutting taxes, it was additional stimulus but every action has consequences and those started to get felt later on and Biden inherited those problems and is being blamed for them. Nonetheless, it was Trump's action that set that in motion.....much like his mishandling of the Covid pandemic.
