Trump/Carney/Macron press conferences

Trumpsters don't know this, of course, but no business owner in their right mind is going to insult a client who represents 16% of their business.
Trump @ 5:51 claims NAFTA was a bad deal for America Mac

No sane biz owner would have accepted any one way deal to the extend of their loss

NAFTA , along with VAT has been duly noted by any American business that assumed our rust belt status as bad for biz

~S~

So I'm watching the press conference with Trump and Mark Carney (see below) and Trump said this, verbatim, with Carney sitting right there: "Well, we don't do much business with Canada from our standpoint".

In reality, we export more to Canada than any other country (see below).

So Carney gently corrected him. It was just like another press conference (see below), where Trump said that Europe's aid to Ukraine was a loan, and Macron gently corrected him right away, saying no, it's not a loan.

So what do you think: Is Trump lying, or is he just ignorant? I don't know how it would be something else, but if you have another theory, please feel free to post it.

United States Exports By Country

/-----/ Trump is right.

What a dumb ass thread. Easily verifiable.
In 2023, in order to continue supporting Ukraine, the EU budget enabled €19.5 billion in short-term assistance, including an unprecedented support package of €18 billion in concessional loans. This was on top of the €11.6 billion provided in loans and grants in 2022.
In October 2024, the EU adopted a new financial assistance package. It consists of an exceptional macro-financial assistance (MFA) loan of approximately €18 billion and a loan cooperation mechanism that will support Ukraine in repaying loans provided by the EU and G7 partners for
up to €45 billion.

It was very strange to watch Trump rant and just utterly ramble for thirty minutes. Is he always like this now?

So Trump's comments were true even though they demonstrably were not. Saying that business with the #1 export country is "not much" is simply not true.

Okay!

Any other tries? Maybe we just stick with the spin already provided?

14% is not much.

how much bigger is 86% than 14%?

United States Exports By Country

I saw a news report last night pointing out the same thing about trump's wildly inaccurate comment regarding US trade with Canada. At this point I guess you'd have to say it came out of ignorance. After all, Dotard is notorious for not paying attention to vital information like his PDB's. They had to be presented in cartoon form during trump 1.0.

However, what does it matter whether it's ignorance or dishonesty? For the majority of the country is just one more display in a very, very long line of displays that trump is not fit to govern. For The Following it's an example of the media being mean. They think the media should stop picking on Dear Leader. Cuz, he's their favorite, doddering, Uncle Donald and so what if he says stupid things. Look at all the nice stuff he's done for them. Like fleece their money to be used for his legal defense......even though he's a billionaire. Like preparing another tax cut for the wealthy. Like lowering inflation and stopping the war on day one. Like reducing the deficit. Okay, he didn't do those last few things but heck he's busy making billion dollar crypto deals with foreign countries and breaking the law virtually every day so let's give him a break.

What did Trump say that was too complicated for your TDS addled feeble mind to comprehend?
He didn't say anything complicated. He was asked questions about trade and rambled about our military, California fires, trains blah blah blah blah blah blah. It was embarrassing.

Deported? And here I thought the Haitians were killing all the geese and and eating their eggs in Springfield.
/——/ Because refugees from third world shytholes would never eat wild animals. They only dine French cuisine from 4 star restaurants.

The flock is not embarrassed, or insulted by him. Ever.

I don't know how, but they're not.

The assertion about immigrants eating pets was a lie. What's the matter, can't you deal with it?

Are you being purposefully Stupid ?
I used to think he was faking his stupidity too, but later realized he's not merely parroting stupid Democrat lies, he also demonstrates a deficit in his logical reasoning skills.

For example, in the OP he presented bifurcation logical fallacy.

So he's the real deal. Dumb as a doorknob.

I see that Trump's very true and extremely relevant point flew way the **** over your head.

Look at the relevant facts.

Canada's standpoint: 75% of Canada's foreign trade is with the USA.

USA standpoint: Only 14% of US foreign trade is with Canada.

From our standpoint, we don't do much business with Canada. We have all the leverage.
These dembots aren’t capable of actually thinking
