"The needy?" They are all making at least four times what I am. Showing his appreciation for front line workers in the midst of a crisis is a GOOD thing, but they're not "needy." That would be the homeless.

Honestly, I've heard of Trump's generosity before, and this was a super thoughtful idea. It just struck me as strange that he is using campaign funds.

FEC rules permit that kind of expenditure as an alternative. Having said that it was a kind gesture nonetheless.
