Most people think well in advance for big purchases. Its no big stretch to bring forward a purchase to save 20 tarriffs.
I dont think a private purchaser would fill his garage with EVs but a retailer would be neglectful if he didnt look to save the extra trump tariff.
20 per cent is probably greater than his atual margin.
