Trump bombs Iran

She wasn't; she was telling the truth. Iran, at that moment in time, had not made a decision to commit to building a nuclear bomb. It was a simple answer to a simple question.

I would acknowledge that Iran is getting closer to having the ability to develop a nuclear bomb, but that doesn't mean they've made the decision to actually build one, and even if they have, that would require delivery systems, which, as far as anyone knows, they probably won't have for about a year.

What Iran has done is tried to give itself the capacity to develop a nuclear bomb/missile within a relatively short window of time if it deems it necessary. I would say that up until last week, Iran's decision to keep open the idea of negotiating and signing a new JCPOA meant that it didn't feel the need to expedite its efforts. But now? Count on Iran building nuclear weapons or acquiring them from someone else.
So, the world should just wait until they have one, right?

Do you hear how stupid that is?

All right wing tropes.

Iran will have their bomb.

Trump’s attack guarantees it.

There is no way that Tehran will make any deal with an untrustworthy duplicitous fool like Donal Trump.
You're a fool.

That is all but guaranteed.

This pretty much settles it for me.

It was settled for you the moment Trump did it.

He may have the world's highest IQ, but that doesn't make him the "world's smartest man". It doesn't mean he's immune to lies, propaganda or prejudice. There are a lot of people with high IQ's who can't even function in the real world. The term "mad scientist" comes to mind.

I've actually met a few people with exceptionally high IQ's who could barely tie their own shoelaces. They could solve complex mathematical theorums, but they can't figure out how to buy their own groceries.

No, the smarter idea would have been to negotiate a peaceful resolution so that Iran allows inspectors to monitor their program and doesn't enrich to weapons grade.

If you think a bombing run is going to keep Iran from building nukes, I think you're mistaken. If Dmitry Medvedev is to be believed, it's entirely possible that a nuclear-armed ally (gee, wonder who he's referring to here) would be willing to donate some nukes to Iran in response to this. Russia does owe Iran, after all.

Were you not opposed to such attacks?
I, like you, know no more than what we are told, John.
I can't make any decision without all the knowledge there is to be known.
This was a complicated situation. It's above yours and mine pay grade.
Anything else is just speculation.
I'll leave it at that.

You'd be wise to check who donates to your source material....

"IPFM's initial support is provided by grants to Princeton University from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation of Chicago and the Carnegie Corporation of New York."

These are names of foundations well known to donate to anti US, highly leftist causes.

But, let's take your material on face value. If this is true, what nuclear powered naval assets does Iran have?
Who knows. May be, they are just going to start building nuclear powered submarines and ships. Say nothing about research and medical-isotope producing reactors. It is their right to do so.

Wow, Mark Levin is still out there? I had not heard of him since I quit TV & Radio & print & Internet mainstream “NEWS”. This post is loaded!

After Trump’s unilateral attack, there is no question that Iran will have the bomb as quickly as they can.
