I don’t think there was really ever any doubt Trump would this.

Netenyahu had wanted for over the past twenty years for the US to consent to his bombing Iran.

All previous US presidents said no.

He found the perfect idiot in Trump to say yes.

Not only did he say yes, but decided to join in this attack.

A dumb move that may change everything in the Middle East.

The U.S. military conducted air strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan on Sunday morning local time.

Behind the scenes: Trump met with his national security team in the White House Situation Room on Saturday evening.

• An Israeli official said Israel was notified by the Trump administration in advance of the U.S. strikes in Iran.
• Another senior Israeli official told Axios that B-2 stealth bombers were used for the strike.

What they're saying: "We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space.

These were strategic strikes not a ground invasion and there has been no talk of an invasion and it is highly unlikely there will in part because the terrain surrounding Iran is extremely difficult to get through and great for defense.
