1. Franklin Delano Roosevelt (D). 25,000sqft to the west wing for offices and the Oval Office. Good.
2. Donald J. Trump (R). 90,000sqft to the east wing for a ballroom so that visiting dignitaries attending ceremonies and events no longer have to be in tents. Bad.

Summation: Anything a Democrat does is good. Anything a Republican does is bad.

The 1934 West Wing renovation/expansion was done through Congress that approved the funds through the Public Works Administration (PWA).

The article is total horse shit. Trump gets things done. For those who do not remember it, check out the skating rink at Rockefeller Center in NY, which the local politicos had been trying to get built for year and years, and Trump got it done in a month.

But make no mistake, every Leftist organization in Washington is trying its damndest to prevent or slow this project, claiming he didn't get approvals, or this committee or that one has to approve the design, and so forth. Trump has navigated these waters before, and NYC is worse than DC.

In the grand scheme of things, this is not an important issue.

It is an important issue because it is going to be a live, running demonstration of Donald Trump’s arrogance, incompetence, and his willingness to desecrate our most important public building to appease his own man child ego.

In so doing,he will justify every one of his critics.
