The Fed building in DC is being refurbished with the public's money. Originally slated for $1.9 BILLION, the costs have increased to $2.5 BILLION. I find that outrageous and as a lefty you should too. That's $2.5B that won't get spent on feeding the poor giving healthcare or whatever your favorite cause it.

It's expensive, because the old, damaged building is being brought up to modern security standards. But we knew this 7 years ago.
