Trump bails, drops Insurrectionist reward fund!

Yeah, this will be interesting. Trump dropped his $10B suit against the IRS in favor of establishing this fund. If the fund is ultimately ruled against, I think it opens the door for Trump's suit to go forward. The IRS is guilty of failing their duty to keep the files secure--LOL, then the left will have 5x as much to whine about.
Trump withdrew "with prejudice"

Yeah but if the court reopens it, it’s back
They can re-open it to determine if there was a fraud upon the court. Trump withdrew "with prejudice" so any damages are waived.

No, if you withdraw (dismiss) a lawsuit with prejudice, you cannot refile the same case again. A dismissal "with prejudice" is a final judgment on the merits, meaning the court has permanently closed the case, and the same claims or charges cannot be relitigated.

The court is in VA that’s reopening it. It’s not even the same court. Once it’s open it’s open

If the court undermines the agreement. Game on. And more damages for Trump to claim

It’s pretty much an open and shut case for Trump…his tax information was clearly illegally released

IF he tries to refile, that would be fraud.

It is still early. The orange grifter won’t give up so easily.
Nope he’s gonna follow the court order. The injunction is just a couple weeks

Maybe you all should stop falling for dembot propaganda and start looking at reality

Yes you are weird

Very weird

You live in some dumocracf fantasy

Trump follows a court order, turns into a thread about Trump bails, it’s weird

They would have had the chance but there is a temp injunction at the moment, because some dems filed a lawsuit, they don’t think victims of govt abuse should be allowed to be compensated.

They can still be compensated.

They just have to file a suit and go through a court of law instead of simply applying to a slush fund where Trump controls who is on the board making the allocations.

Then of course their claim would have to have merit.

Sorry a settlement happens outside of court

Are you ignorant?

Sorry a settlement happens outside of court

Sometimes.

#1 Settlement agreements are often reviewed by the court as that is part of the submission for the Judge to dismiss and close the case.

#2 Settlements - especially those involving the US Government - the settlement must be related to the topic of the lawsuit. Trump's leaked taxes and providing a slush fund to J6's have no relationship.

#3A Settlements must not be related to attempting to defraud the court or the government. For example Trump sueing himself (through the Trump Administration) and then having his personal defense attorney (that he put in the Acting AG job) "settle the case" for a $1.8 slush fund that Trump Controls, but that also - effectively - gives him a tax pardon for past civil and criminal liablity. Especially since the IRS disagreed and currently had a $100 Million back tax claim.

#3B The President is subject to the Constitution. There is an argument to be made that Trump's barring forever past civil and criminal liability for past tax acts (worth currently about $100 Million) violates the Presidential Emoluments Clause of the United States Constitution (Article II, Section 1, Para 8).

Are you ignorant?

No, not a Trump bootlicker either.

Um what do you think a settlement is? We have had a Settlement Fund since the 1950s

It’s amazing yoj think it’s corrupt for the govt to want to settle cases where people were victims of govt

Amazing

You want your all powerful demafasict govt immune from anything they do

Sick
What other settlement involved a president's personal attorney, promoted into a position who reports to the president and can make a settlement happen, get sued by that same president, and then negotiate a bad faith settlement between the two of them?
