trump bailing out Argentine beef ranchers.

Instead of American ones that are suffering from his ill advised trade war.

Promising to import Argentine beef to undercut the American farmers prices and profits.

Make Argentina Great Again!!

And when asked about it he scolds the reporter instead of answering.

LOL😊

Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Argentinian voters handed President Javier Milei's libertarian party a landslide win in midterm elections in an endorsement of his program of radical government cuts and market reforms aimed at reversing the country's economic decline.

Milei's Freedom Advances party won more than 40% of the vote in Sunday's election for the National Congress, almost doubling the number of seats it held in the Senate to 13 and 64 in the Chamber of Deputies, the lower house.

Yes because I don't live in the MAGA bubble.
Your bubble has absolutely nothing to do with the topic.....only in your head.

The CR process is for keeping the lights on while the appropriations part of a budget bill are negotiated/agreed to.....creating a spending package for the following year.

Your ACA issue is part of that process.

Dems supported something like the last 13 CRs......all with the same intent.

Your DNC bedwetting brigade is lying to you over the process and it's obvious that you drank the koolaid.

Political peril spurs Trump to act on beef prices even as ranchers rage

The Trump administration is acutely aware of a looming political vulnerability: beef.

In just the last month, President Donald Trump has repeatedly expressed frustration with the high prices U.S. consumers are seeing in grocery stores, promising “a deal” to “bring the price down.”

The near-term solution to boost supply — plans to purchase 80,000 metric tons of beef from Argentina, quadruple the typical quota — has spurred intense backlash from farm-state Republicans and agriculture industry groups who have felt burned by several Trump administration policies in recent months.

But Trump’s election was fueled, in part, by Americans’ concerns over high costs, an issue the president often hammered on the campaign trail as he promised food prices would fall if he returned to the White House. Ten months in, Trump and his top aides are scrambling to keep the campaign pledge, calculating that in the short-term it’s worth antagonizing ranchers, a loyal GOP constituency that benefits from elevated beef prices, if they can bring down costs for consumers.

It's weird cuz I was sure trump wasn't lying when he said he would bring prices down immediately. ;)

Actually they are approving of his schlurping of tRump's little mario kart mushroom to get them a bailout and a buying their beef.

Great. Argentina's been an economic basket case since Peron took over decades ago and emptied its coffers.
And they still will be just with our money.

Back to your obsession with Trump's cock. Seek help

Why would I oppose a plan to bring down beef prices using some of the best beef on the planet?

Oh yeah, I'm not a mindless Murder Cult drone like you who automatically pisses his panties over anything and everything Trump does.

HTH
Because it makes it very hard for US farmers to export beef as the southern countries the US imports from have poor tracking mechanisms, so US beef isn't accepted as a general thing in other countries' imports because it can not be verified as to origin.

HTH.

Cattle rancher spills the beans

American ranchers have been make a fortune the past 6 years off of cattle imported from Brazil

It takes a certain amount of stupidity to think anyone is going to sit through random vids to make your arguments for you.

Oh.

It's Frank.

Ok.

No, on the contrary, ive been a proponent of farmer subsidies. I mean, we need their crops. Of course, if the US didnt import a huge chunk of our food, farmers might not need those subsidies.

Farmers have to take bailouts because we import everything. 35% of our vegetables and 60% of our fruit is imported. Why not let our farmer grow that stuff?
Because you complain about the cost when they can't exploit foreign labour.

No, on the contrary, ive been a proponent of farmer subsidies.
So can you point to a post where you've praised a farmer for taking subsidies? That was the point of the general enquiry.

I have? Immigrant labor has been picking our crops for....hundreds of years. Ive not complained about the cost of produce, what I have complained about are all the recalls and bacteria borne produce coming from Mexico. Seems like every time we turn around were having a new warning issued about contaminated produce.

Also, are you saying you are supporting slave wages for these immigrants picking our vegetables?
