In both Italy and Spain the Monarchs resigned power and allowed for Democratic government. The monarchs still retained ownership of almost everything - especially the land.
The people elected mostly Liberals, Progressives, Democratic-Socialists, communists and anarchists to the new government.
These political groups started making changes to the feudal socio-economic order that been left by the monarchy. Especially land reform and in education.
Mussolini declared that anyone who wanted to change the feudal socio-economic order of Italy was Anti-Italian and appealed to the patriotism of Italian WWI veterans.
Mussolini and his followers stormed the Italian parliament - much like the J6 insurrection - and took over the government by force.
Mussolini enforced the feudal socio-economic order. That meant that everyone's life was dictated by their 'Birthright'. No Socio-economic advancement due to individual accomplishments was allowed. You were you father. The wealthy remained wealthy, the middle-class remained the middle class and the poor remained poor no matter what.
Now, I know that Donald Trump has appealed to your darker angels by promising cruelty as much as possible, but that is not what Trump is really about.
He used you to gain power. He's a salesman and he said whatever it took to sell himself to you. You bought it.
What Trump is really about is establishing a global system of elitist dictators, with himself as the dictator of the United States and the emperor of Western Civilization. With that will be a Fascist socio-economic order based on Trump's vision of "How the World should be". Everyone will be locked into their place by birthright which will be largely dependent on race and ethnicity. Individualism will not be allowed.
Most of Trump's followers have been ignoring what he says and sane-washing him to fit your own beliefs. Maybe you should have realized that he means what he says and paid attention.
If Trump is successful, it will be people like you who pay the greatest price. In a Fascist or Monarchist system, the top of the socio-economic pyramid keeps getting narrower and narrower as the people at the top vie with each other and eliminate each other - often times brutally. Study history and you'll find that I'm right.
People like myself and my family will probably not do badly since the rulers always need educated professionals to keep the country working. They are dependent on us.
The funniest thing is that it will actually be poetic justice. Trump appealed to your sense of cruelty but in the end, it will likely be you that suffers the greatest cruelty.

Trump is not supporting a "birthright" system at all. He's for less regulation in most markets, for example, which increases economic mobility. He is in favor of certain tariffs, but they are aimed at attracting industry here (similar to how we tariff cars that aren't assembled here).
While it is true that monarchies and fascisms lead to a certain amount of oligarchy, socialism and communism are no different. If anything, the elite class is narrower and more rigidly structured in those systems, because centrally planned economies have little to no economic mobility. People worry about income inequality, but that isn't a problem in and of itself. Economic mobility is what matters, because the system should reward skill and productivity.

Challenging an election with alternate electors isn't trying to steal an election. It wasn't stealing an election in Hawaii in 1960 when the same process was used either.
Stealing an election would be setting up voter registration to involve non-citizens when they receive driver's licenses or refusing to remove dead people from voter rolls and having them mysteriously vote posthumously.

No, Trump is not going to magically turn the social fabric of America into a birth right based society. America has been changing into a fascist birth right society since at least the 1980s. Trump (and Musk) are the final nail in the coffin. Wealthy, mostly white, Americans have been born into wealth and without needing to earn or achieve anything. They believe they are entitled to the standard of living their parents gave them - A new royalty based on inheritance. It's been estimated that as much as 80% of all wealth is inherited. Now we have the Trump, Musk, RFK Jr. triad - all of which INHERITED THE MAJORITY OF THEIR WEALTH. They have no regard for hard working people - Hell Trump won't even pay the people that work for him half the time.
Most of the senior leadership at all levels of industry gained their positions thru inherited wealth and social connections.
Monarchies and Fascist societies have one and only one oligarchy. Competing Oligarchs are eliminated. The U.S. usually has thousands of oligarchs, but with Trump (like Stalin & Putin), there will be only two types of oligarchs - Trump loyalists and dead.
The hard-working achievers and productive people are needed in every society, but they will never enjoy socio-economic mobility like they historically have had in the U.S. To be in the upper crust of society, you must be born into it or marry into it. Just like monarchies throughout history.
BTW - The only difference between Fascism and Communism is which lies they choose to promote their tyranny.
