Trump at funeral service

He should get up and lead the audience in a "lock her up" cheer for Hillary.

Fox News coverage now!

The Bush Family really hates President Trump's guts, I'm surprised they didn't ask him to stay home.
They never invited him, they invited the Office of the President.

Until the Orange Virus is inoculated from this country, you should expect more of the same on the daily. There will be no negotiations. But, you knew this already.
Unfortunately the former 1st Lady / Senator / Sect of State made it perfectly clear - she is a bitter, hateful / hate-driven, selfish, 2-time loser who has vowed to hold onto her hatred, refuses to be civil, refuses to be tolerant, and has called for those who would embrace her hatred to follow suit. For her and her followers, sadly, this is their 'new norm'. Yes, I already knew this.

I was just hoping that at such a solemn occasion when a tremendously great man whose kindness and generosity is being remembered today might actually have a small impact on her, getting her to consider others and her own path ahead instead of remaining focused on herself, on hatred and revenge. I actually expected her to act 'gracious' and 'civil'. Silly me.

:dunno: Some believe the Orange Virus is a shitty person, ex-prez funeral or not. I don't think he should have been afforded an invitation at all.
Thank God the vast minority / 'some' do not rule the world / make all the rules.....

The ability - or inability - for the country to come together, putting political differences aside to honor the life of a former President, IMO, shows the moral tolerant heart of a nation.
I know. That's why you see Bush and the Clintons and the Obama's all coming together.

Trump is hate. He was too much of a pu$$y to go to visit the Bush family when Barbara died. Melania went and was warmly received. It's because of her he even went to this eulogy. You know he was terrified. Getting up close with people he lied about and smeared and called terrible and racist names.

Trump is a scumbag and totally represents everything the GOP stands for. The leader and a perfect spokesman.

Trump lives with that hamster that turns your wheel in your head.

Sad
Trump lives with a hamster jammed up his ass

The wild imaginings of what Trump is thinking, dreams of what's motivating him, then attributing these imaginings to Trump himself is delusional and sick. You must know that.
Yup, that sums up the 'wild imaginings' of hate-driven snowflakes, who can not be the least bit civil even during the funeral of GHWB.

I would not be offended if a President or anyone else did not come to my funeral. If they can not come out of respect, behave themselves, be civil - don't care who you are, stay the hell away. NOT showing up, in that case, is a sign of respect.
Trump knows he will not be welcome at my funeral

How gracious and civil could you be to some one bashing you for many years even to the point of wanting to jail you??

What makes you think I give a shit about what Hillary Clinton thinks? Both her and the Orange Virus can talk a long walk off a short pier together.

I'm sure he'll be crushed, you were one of his favorites.

Just look at that pathetic witch sitting there next to her pathetic husband. Can you believe there are still people thinking hillary would have been a better pick, even with the unreal success of Trump?

Presidents, others praise former President George H.W. Bush

“George H.W. Bush’s life is a testament to the notion that public service is a noble, joyous calling. And he did tremendous good along the journey.”
— Former President Barack Obama.

“Through his essential authenticity, disarming wit, and unwavering commitment to faith, family, and country, President Bush inspired generations of his fellow Americans to public service_to be, in his words, “a thousand points of light” illuminating the greatness, hope, and opportunity of America to the world.”
— President Donald Trump.

“I will be forever grateful for the friendship we formed. From the moment I met him as a young governor invited to his home in Kennebunkport, I was struck by the kindness he showed to Chelsea, by his innate and genuine decency, and by his devotion to Barbara, his children, and their growing brood.”
— Former President Bill Clinton.

“The world has lost a great leader; this country has lost one of its best; and I have lost one of my dearest friends. I am heartbroken.”
— Brent Scowcroft, Bush’s national security adviser.

“He was in fact the first American President that I was privileged to meet. I recall being deeply touched by your father’s concern for the Tibetan people and the situation in Tibet. It is truly admirable to have lived over 94 years. While nothing can replace the loss of a father, we can rejoice in the fact that his was a meaningful life, dedicated to public service. I commend your parents for encouraging their children, including you my dear friend, to devote yourselves to the service of others.”
— Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama

(President George H.W. Bush was) “a great statesman and a true friend of our country” whose “ethos of public service was the guiding thread of his life and an example to us all ... in navigating a peaceful end to the Cold War he made the world a safer place for generations to come.”
— British Prime Minister Theresa May

(He) “saw America’s obligation to the world and honored it. I feel privileged to have worked with him, and even more privileged that he became a lifelong friend. He was, quite simply, one of the most deep-down decent people I have ever known.”
— John Major, British Prime Minister from 1990-1997

“I am mourning George Bush ... as the chancellor of Germany and as a German who, without the results of his policies, probably couldn’t be standing here today.”
— German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who grew up behind the Iron Curtain in communist East Germany

“One might disagree with a policy or a decision of George Herbert Walker Bush. But no one ever questioned his patriotism, his human decency, his selfless service to his God, country, family, and friends. He represented the best within us.”
— Luci Baines Johnson, daughter of the late President Lyndon Johnson

When Bush finished and sat back down. He looked like he was laughing. But he was actually crying.

Touching.
I'll have to catch that clip when I get home tonight.

I'm curious to see how he conducted himself.

Just look at that pathetic witch sitting there next to her pathetic husband. Can you believe there are still people thinking hillary would have been a better pick, even with the unreal success of Trump?
For the record, she would have been MILES a better choice for the country.

I know. That's why you see Bush and the Clintons and the Obama's all coming together. Trump is hate.

I see the Trumps, Bushes, Clintons, and Carters all coming together...sitting right next to each other. What 'hate' are you talking about...except that which is being spewed towards the current President at the moment?

Again, as I stated, show up or not show up, people will criticize and hate on the President and 1st Lady. Thanks for the demo....back to the funeral and respects to GHWB.

The president should have got into the pew first and let Melania sit in the aisle seat.

Truly sad how liberals are disappointed in President George H.W. Bush having a dignified funeral service as opposed to the political spectacle of McCain's funeral that went on for over a week.
I have no doubt the media will find plenty of petty attacks against TRUMP.
