Anyone who is a "real conservative" and running for president is manipulated by the elites running the party with not getting any or as much assets, negative things done behind the scenes and people running against him in the primaries to take votes away. We have seen the party give elections away in state races and federal office races.

Trump was a lone wolf pushing MAGA, he was unique, but I suspect voters are not going to vote for GOP now and Trumps party knows it. The comments I continue to read online is that Trump is now part of the Establishment.

Worse than any policy might be that he is going to China to meet Xi, the negative comments regarding this are most negative, that and illegal immigration was a huge winner for him politically. China is helping Russia and Iran. This is NOT a trip Reagan would have made during war.

I suspected that CNN giving Trump 100% support in a poll was bad news. They are looking past him, Trump was the one guy who stood alone but his supporters do not seem behind him, especially those under age 35.

Can he recover? It is going to be difficult I think. JD Vance and Rubio both have an uphill climb in 2028.
