Wall on the border has been proven ineffective, expensive to construct and impossible to maintain.

Well, you're dealing with partisan nonsense. Not every person in the US is a partisan hack, but many of them are, or at least support the partisan nonsense.

If you want to get rid of this then you need to support a change in the way people vote to some kind of Proportional Representation voting style. There are many styles out there to choose from, but until the US decides this is the way forwards, then partisan nonsense is going to remain.

Many people have lost hope with their own lives, so they look to politics and sport to give it back to them. The reality of politics is that it's boring and functional, so they demand it be something else, something that can give them this hope, ie, nonsense with lots of nationalism and insulting in it.

It's sad that the more educated we get, the more stupid we get.
