Abortion measures passed with 60% majorities in most states and failed to pass Wvwn though they had large majorities in states where Trump won big. That makes no sense. Clearly MAGA women support abortion rights but mistakenly don’t blame Trump for overturning Roe.

Allowed. Now the Blue States can enact laws allowing abortion to the last second, and the Red States can enact laws regulating it as they see fit.

I oppose any federal regulation of abortion, except for a ban on someone transporting minors they are not guardians of across State lines (really for most reasons, not just abortion).

Also a federal law clarifying a State can't punish a resident for getting an abortion in another State. State laws end at the State's border.

If that truly happened? Of course I would love to see that. But I just don't hold that position on him that many here do. That said, I think he most likely will do some things on the surface that make it look like he's shaking things up with the 'deep state.' (I prefer the term PTSB, short for powers-that-shouldn't-be) But that's because I believe that's what his role is. Controlled opposition. It's the Hegelian Dialectic.

I fully realize and admit that my view on this is extremely unpopular, and probably sounds cynical as can be. But I'm not a cynical person, at all. In fact, as a Christian, I believe in things many nonbelievers probably think is pie in the sky silly nonsense. My faith is the very reason why I don't freak out over politics or fear what is to come. Because I know how it ends. But it should be stated, that good ending will come after a lot of bad stuff. The bible-believing Christians know what I'm talking about.

Harris never differentiated herself from Biden. She should have done that right out of the gate.

The dems spent the last 4 years persecuting Trump instead of planning for the future. They should have always known that Biden was going to be a one-term POTUS, and they should have started grooming his replacement in 2020.
