Trump as won the popular vote

There is 50 years of social inertia on abortion to overcome. Can't change that with the flip of a switch.

This is one place where I am social libertarian. I don't like abortion, but I like government intervention in people's private lives even less.
I fully agree in theory. I would love to see a small, mostly non-intrusive government, but I abhor the taking of an innocent life and believe that that's a law that should never be broken. The men and women in white coats who exercise this atrocity for money are hired killers and should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Cheer up buttercup ..🙂

Come on, you totally misunderstood if you think I preferred a Commiela win. Hell no! I don't prefer either of them. My point was the "election" didn't matter to me, because I honestly don't think it matters, at that level. I've said this so many times, but I'll say it again. I believe presidents are mostly puppets, for those behind the scenes who have the real power. The sooner people wake up and finally realize that, the better. In my view. But I'm not trying to convince you or anyone, just chiming in with a different POV.

I'm also sympathetic to that view. A baby in the womb is still a baby and should be protected. I know that too.

I have conflicting views, and that's a good indication to me that I should not be making the call.

It's a cop-out, but I'm glad I'm not in that position. Ultimately I guess I leave it to the people most affected to make the decision.

Looks like Abortion popular everywhere, but Florida required a super majority of 60%, & the vote came in just short of that. So now Desantis 6 week ban is shorter than a pregnancy test will detect a pregnancy.
It will come back up in Florida, they aren't done with it.

A majority want something different than what they have now.

Let's say Trump shakes up .. "those behind the scenes .." , as before, would that cheer you up?

Who ran Biden?

If that truly happened? Of course I would love to see that. But I just don't hold that position on him that many here do. That said, I think he most likely will do some things on the surface that make it look like he's shaking things up with the 'deep state.' (I prefer the term PTSB, short for powers-that-shouldn't-be) But that's because I believe that's what his role is. Controlled opposition. It's the Hegelian Dialectic.

I fully realize and admit that my view on this is extremely unpopular, and probably sounds cynical as can be. But I'm not a cynical person, at all. In fact, as a Christian, I believe in things many nonbelievers probably think is pie in the sky silly nonsense. :dunno: My faith is the very reason why I don't freak out over politics or fear what is to come. Because I know how it ends. :) But it should be stated, that good ending will come after a lot of bad stuff. The bible-believing Christians know what I'm talking about.

Biden is a globalist puppet, so the same globalists that have hijacked our political process, by creating the illusion that we have a true choice.

Praise God !!
I was really convinced the Dems would steal it again but I'm happy to be wrong.

To EVERYONE who got out and voted to flush the garbage

I agree with you. If Republicans can get the WH, Senate and House control, this question will finally be answered one way or the other.

This is the biggest surprise of all. Democrats: do not even think about "Russian Collusion II" or "Impeachment III".

The is as big of a landslide as is possible by a Republican at this stage.

The people have spoken.
Trump got about the same number of votes as he did in 2020.
Trumpers love him.

Obviously he could shoot someone on Fifth Ave and not lose a vote

Dems sat on their hands. Something like 15 million less votes than Biden got.

I’m not sure why that happened but clearly women didn’t have the effect they should have. In fact they were schizophrenic

Abortion measures passed with 60% majorities in most states and failed to pass Wvwn though they had large majorities in states where Trump won big. That makes no sense. Clearly MAGA women support abortion rights but mistakenly don’t blame Trump for overturning Roe.

In any event we will be sorry

Every Republican Administration in the last 40 years has been a disaster and I don’t see how this one will be any different

Thats really shocking

Here I was worried that trump would lose and we get a landslide instead

Trump hit major States outside the swing States, and his campaign pushed EVERYONE to vote.
