Trump Announces Iran Deal ‘Largely Negotiated’, Strait of Hormuz to Be Opened

When the war settles the economy takes off, the DOW hits new highs, jobs increase, and every measure of Trumps performance approvals increase.
At the same time democrats oppose every successful Trump policy, double down on socialism high taxes, green energy, massive government fraud, men in womens bathrooms, supporting violence weak on crime and all right before the miderm
Youre playing checkers Trump is playing chess and he is kicking your ass
^^ Well ... until Israel drags Trump into another one of their "Greater Israel" wars. Then everything turns to sh*t again like it is today.

Stop with the strawman arguments.
1. The Mujahedin did NOT become AQ, they split up and had a civil war, per Copilot:
"After the Soviet withdrawal in 1989, the Mujahideen factions did not stay unified. Instead, they split and fought each other in a civil war. This fragmentation created the conditions for new groups to emerge."

2. The Contras did not flood our streets with crack cocaine, the drug cartels arose independently of the Contras. (Also as per Copilot)

3. You did not shake the claim that democrats want to fund terrorism after Obama gave Iran $56,000,000,000 with no strings attached, and more recently the "from the river to the sea Palestine must be free". Siding with Hamas.
Asking loaded questions of an AI chat bot only yields the responses you want to hear.

But, you already knew that,

"Trump Announces Iran Deal ‘Largely Negotiated’, Strait of Hormuz to Be Opened

Once a week, or two, the annoying orange makes such a pronouncement, the markets respond, the barrel price of oil drops to $100 or just below, Netanyahu gets all incensed that the killing might slow down, and the Iranians respond with “We don’t know who the hell he’s talking to, but it ain’t us.”
Wash.Rinse.Repeat

Asking loaded questions of an AI chat bot only yields the responses you want to hear.

But, you already knew that,
Trump has definitely stepped in deep do-do in Iran

And I fear he is going to accept a bad deal rather thsn stay the course till the job is finished

But for all the glee coming from lib trump haters a win for Iran is very bad for America

You asked what wound, and then identified the most serious short term wound.
Starting a war that created oil shortages and increased the price of oil by 50% is propelling the world toward a serious recession, just as it did in 1979. Only this time, the wound was entirely self inflicted (by Donald Trump).
So why aren't our so-called "allies" helping us to open Hormuz using military force?
There are several countries that have naval vessels capable of defending a tanker convoy thru Hormuz.
If there is a serious global recession the weenies deserve it.
No one country has (or likely will) replace us. But as the United States continues to abandon its role as world leader (which has been a very consistent Trump policy), the vacuum is being filled by an increasingly fragmented and unstable world.
Ironically, the end of the Pax Americana has been a Russian foreign policy goal since 1945. For most of that time, American leadership rendered this goal to the fantasy realm.
The US has a $40T debt problem much of which was accumulated protecting the EU from Russia, as the Europeans took the month of August off on "holiday". The US shouldered the burden of most of the defense spending for NATO. Similarly, the tariffs before Trump were very unfair to the US, he made them more fair. The US did not abandon its role as world leader, our $30T economy says so. Just look at the new products the US produces.
And then came Trump, who has single-handedly attacked the role of US as a world power, undermining and retreating consistently from the responsibilities that come with leadership. A bloated and over funded military does not translate into power.
Economic power can. If it is employed wisely in tandem with policy leadership.
Give me examples where the US undermined and retreated, because IMHO Trump made NATO stronger, as Secretary Rutte confirmed. Google it.
This was one of the lessons of WWII. The United States largely abandoned its role as world leader and retreated into isolationism. American finance limited itself to investment and acquisition, rather than influence. This retreat emboldened fascists and contributed to WWII.
Alas, this short sighted, parochial view is the direction that Trump has been drifting toward.
And the results are appearing far sooner than they did 80 years ago.
Investment and acquisition works, its called "capitalism".
The United States is not in the driver’s seat with regard to Iran.
Indeed, the Iranian position has hardly changed since Feb. 28th.
I tend to agree with you that Trump took his foot off the gas and made Iran look stronger than they really are.
Iran thinks that they control Hormuz and can charge tolls for transit.
Yet Project Freedom demonstrated that US escorts can eliminate all Iranian attacks.

Trump should keep bombing Iran until they agree to terms, and open Hormuz with naval and air escorts.
1. RR bridges to China
2. Pump stations to the Caspian Sea
3. Restarted missile and drone factories
4. Military facilities used to close Hormuz
5. IRGC locations

You cheer for an Iranian victory because you hate trump more than you love America
You cheer for the Iranian regime because they love Trump.

A competent POTUS would never have handed it the opportunity to control the global economy.

Most patriotic Americans, regardless of party affiliation, recognize Trump's Middle Eastern Pearl Harbor "little excursion" with the Bibi (that has already cost the taxpayer nearly $92 billion) has seriously damaged the United States domestically and internationally.

It is costing Americans over $4.50 for a gallon of gasoline today, up from $2.98 when Trump's surprise attack destroyed the Shajareh Tayyebeh Elementary School, killing 156 civilians, including 120 schoolgirls.

Disgraceful incompetence. The Islamofacists in Tehran are abusing the hapless Orange Tojo mercilessly.

Immediately after the Iran War began, about 48 percent of Americans opposed the conflict, according to the Silver Bulletin average. That was already unpopular relative to past wars, but things have only gotten worse. Nearly 60 percent of Americans oppose the war today. In fact, I had to extend the y-axis of our polling average upward to accommodate the increasing unpopularity of the conflict.
The US and Iran are still trying to hammer out a peace deal. But according to The New York Times, “Iran has repeatedly rebuffed U.S. terms for a deal to curb uranium enrichment and end attempts to blockade the strategic Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway for shipping oil and gas.”

We have to face the threat from Iran sooner or later

Its better to do it now before they have nukes and even more advanced rockets than later

How did bombing North Vietnam back into the stone age work out?

Why has no intelligence service reported Iran's re-activation of the dormant nuclear weapons and missile programs?

When will Trump order the invasion to secure the naughty bits?

By now, the resilient regime must find his vapid bluster laughable.

Um, wow, are you retarded? Do you have a fricking learning disability?

Yes, they fought among themselves, and the WINNING factions became the Taliban and AQ.

The reason AQ existed at all was that the CIA found it easier to work with Arab volunteers than to learn to speak Pashto and learn Afghan culture. Much easier to recruit guys like Bin Laden, who hated modern values that the Soviets were trying to bring to Afghanistan.

2. The Contras did not flood our streets with crack cocaine, the drug cartels arose independently of the Contras. (Also as per Copilot)

First, stop using AI tools and do real research. Copilot is programmed to tell you what you want to hear based on your past inquiries.

The Contras were involved in drug trafficking. The government has admitted this.

3. You did not shake the claim that democrats want to fund terrorism after Obama gave Iran $56,000,000,000 with no strings attached, and more recently the "from the river to the sea Palestine must be free". Siding with Hamas.

That was Iran's money, and the courts have REPEATEDLY said we were obligated to return it.

How would you know. The democrats have obstructed everything he's attempted for ten years.
Perhaps, but Trump lost a ton of support when he failed to keep his campaign promises. In some ways ... he's his own worst enemy. All he had to do was keep his promises and he would have had gargantuan support from his Conservative base. Instead, he chose to poop on us. Epstein files; draining the Swamp; no new wars; etc., etc.

Trump's incompetence and divisiveness that have resulted in widespread loathing among Independents and Democrats are now wreaking havoc within the GOP as midterm elections loom and Ballroom Boy's blunders abound:
... Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said he was “deeply concerned” about what he has heard about the potential peace deal and that he prayed early reports about its details were wrong, saying the outcome of the agreement “could be a disastrous mistake”...
Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., said a “rumored 60-day ceasefire” with Iran “would be a disaster,” saying the military operation in Iran that began nearly three months ago “would be for naught!”
Trump on Sunday slammed backlash that came after he said a peace deal with Iran was in its final stages, which led to Republicans attacking each other on social media—at times with profanity-laden name-calling—as the anti-war wing of the party lauded a potential end to the war while others suggested a deal maintaining the Iranian regime would be a failure for the U.S...
The White House fiercely fired back at one notable GOP critic—former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo—with White House Communications Director Steven Cheung saying Pompeo “has no idea what the f— he’s talking about” and “should shut his stupid mouth and leave the real work to the professionals.”
MAGA firebrand and former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., said of Graham and others pushing against the deal, “If they are complaining publicly, it’s guaranteed they are calling and texting the President and complaining even more directly,” ...

An internal fragging festival may well be in the offing.

Cruz and the others will praise whatever deal materializes regardless of the details, if a deal actually happens.
