Trump and Musk: Two Grown Men Who Need To Grow The **** Up

There was no seditious conspiracy. It was a crowd who got out of control. No plan of any “gubment overtrow”.
AI Overview John Eastman memo; Mike Pence; Stewart Rhodes

The key figures you mentioned are connected through the events surrounding the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, specifically through the efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election
.
Here's a breakdown of the relationships:
  • John Eastman & Mike Pence: John Eastman, a Trump-aligned lawyer, drafted memos proposing a plan for then-Vice President Mike Pence to refuse to count electoral votes from certain states during the official certification process in Congress. Eastman's theory was that Pence, as the presiding officer, could unilaterally declare that no valid electors existed in those states and, therefore, overturn the election results, leading to Trump's re-election. Pence ultimately rejected this plan, refusing to go along with the scheme.
  • Stuart Rhodes & Mike Pence: Stuart Rhodes, the founder of the Oath Keepers, was convicted of seditious conspiracy related to the events of January 6th. Following the certification of the electoral college votes, Rhodes sent a message indicating that Pence would not prevent it and that "patriots" would have to take matters into their own hands.
In summary: John Eastman attempted to persuade Mike Pence to use his position as Vice President to overturn the election results based on false claims, while Stuart Rhodes, associated with the Oath Keepers, was involved in the activities that took place at the Capitol on January 6th, which aimed to disrupt the certification process. There's no indication that Rhodes and Pence had a direct relationship. Rhodes expressed disappointment when Pence didn't go along with the plan to overturn the election, as he believed this meant that people would have to take action themselves.

  • Another man testified that after the riot, Rhodes tried to persuade him to pass along a message to Trump that urged the president not to give up his fight to hold onto power. The intermediary — a man who told jurors he had an indirect way to reach the president — recorded his meeting with Rhodes and went to the FBI instead of giving the message to Trump.

“If he’s not going to do the right thing and he’s just gonna let himself be removed illegally then we should have brought rifles,” Rhodes said during that meeting, according to a recording played for jurors. “We should have fixed it right then and there. I’d hang (expletive) Pelosi from the lamppost,” Rhodes said, referring to Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

I looked through your cut-and-paste novel and see nowhere mentioned that Trump ordered the killing of Pence or for people to take up arms and overthrow the government. I did see where he said "Protests in peace and order. Unlike the Dems and Commyla and Maxine encouraging the burning, killing, looting and even bailing them out.

Two grumpy old men. That's what my cynical side tells me. Kinda sorta like the movie with Walter Matthau, but not. My intelligent side though says these men are acting like children. Both of them.

All in all, they need to grow the fuck up. Seriously. There was a good thing going between the richest, most brilliant man this world has seen since Einstein, and Trump, who staged the greatest and what some see as the most miraculous political comeback in American history. But then when Trump found out an ally of Musk's, whom he nominated for NASA, was a Democrat (oh the horror!) he pulled him. That likely led to Musk voicing his displeasure with the BBB, and then today's row.

On one side, you have Musk, a centibillionaire and pioneering aerospace and technological innovator. On the other hand, you have Trump, the United States president twice, survivor of three separate assassination attempts, one of which almost killed him. Both, who should be projecting unity in the face of a feeble attempt by the left to take them down. But what happened? They did all the work for the left by going after each other's throats. In the left's lowest moment as a party, they give them substance and nourishment.

Trump and the GOP won't cut the pork, and Musk won't support it. And to tell you the truth, I kinda didn't like Musk before he got into politics, but I admired what he was doing for the aerospace industry. His vision for Mars ignited my imagination. I became one of his fans. However, now that Musk has gotten a taste of how savage DC politics are, he shouldn't be so naive. Three months is not sufficient experience. Musk was not prepared for the savagery that he would get for engaging the American political apparatus. Trump on the other hand, has a keen political instinct, it has served him well enough to get him elected twice. Musk would be wise to get back in Trump's good graces, and fast.

But in the end, I joined politics as a fiscal conservative (now classical liberal). What Trump is doing with the BBB is a travesty. He betrays my vote and faith in him when he endorses a bill with so much pork in it. Yeah, he aced immigration, but that's only one quantum of my conservatism. I want there to be spending cuts. What I don't want is a problem in search of a solution. I don't want presidents making agreements with people like Palantir for ways to keep and store my personal information. I don't care for people who lack conviction.

I agree with Musk in the end here, and I presume I always will. Musk to me is proving more a man of the people than Trump right now, and it disappoints me to say that.

With all that being said, they are both GROWN MEN who need to grow the fuck up. I've reached my limit of bullshit.

Out.
2026 - Grow the economy
2027 - Cut the deficit
2028 - Restructure the debt

Musk doesn't understand politics.

I have never argued that Trump ordered the killing of Mike Pence or for the people to take up arms and overthrow the government.

The attempt to overthrow the government {overturn the election results} on January 6 was not to be done through arms and violence

You said there was no seditious conspiracy committed by the “Republican Trump patriot“ Stuart Rhodes and his militiamen.

This response is in response to your words and is based on the facts and the reality and the truth of what happened and why it happened on January 6 2021. I will continue to await for you to discredit the facts as I presented then when you are calm intelligent and able to reply

If you were capable of responding with integrity substance, you wouldn’t have had to lie about what my presentation of the facts is

You do know that it was the radical liar Fani Willis who filed against him, right?

ding

Trump pardoned all the January 6 cop beaters who had the gallows there and if they would’ve got to him, they would’ve strung him up.

TRUMP WANTED IT. PENCE KEPT DON TRUMP FROM BE BECOMING PRESIDENT ELECT ON JANUARY 6, 2021.

Pence was the only man that could do it on that date by obeying the orders and participating in the corrupt fraud that the Republican Party set up to make happen on that day for their dear and Holy leader

You are defending a monster like all those white republican Christian nationalist who call themselves religious conservatives who are “focused on the family
Why are you brining me into your discussion with a Marxist?

Trump tried to overturn the will of the voters in Georgia and six other states so he could stay in power beyond his constitutional four year first term limit..

F. Willis presented the law and the evidence to a grand jury twice I believe, both times Trump was indicted. That’s how the law works in this country. The man is above the law.

But to the point that you miss; Willis did not indict Trump for having anything to do with the violence on January 6, 2021. You are whiffing big time on the ball you are attempting to hit.

The lawless thug and more importantly the lawless Republican Party are not defendable by anybody with integrity and a desire to know the truth.

Wanting to abolish religion has to do with facts how exactly?
"Throughout our nation's history, churches have done what no government can ever do, namely teach morality and civility. Moral and civil individuals are largely governed by their own sense of right and wrong, and hence have little need for external government. This is the real reason the collectivist Left hates religion: Churches as institutions compete with the state for the people's allegiance, and many devout people put their faith in God before putting their faith in the state. Knowing this, the secularists wage an ongoing war against religion, chipping away bit by bit at our nation's Christian heritage." Ron Paul

Sorry but we don't need the hammer of religion for morals

George Washington disagreed.

Washington was a Freemason. He didn’t believe any religion, including Christianity, should use the hammer of religion in government to impose morality on the population

In Washington’s Day, the colonists were not very churchy. Less than 20% of the population belonged to a church.

it’s only the white Christian nationalist Protestant and Catholic Republican voters who vote for this Republican authoritarianism who have learned from their churches that the sanctity of life begins at conception.

So your Ron Paul propaganda statement makes no sense St.ding.
