So that they could not warn Iran
Apparently they didn't trust their Director of National Intelligence, who wasn't invited to the situation room for the strike. The remarkable thing about this entire operation is that there were no leaks. By not informing the Democrats they ensured that the opeation would remain classified and leak free.
Then why did they have to do it again on Monday?Trump made the notification to comply with War Powers Act, but he was smart to hold off on telling the Dems until right before the mission was completed. It's clear the Dems would have leaked the intel, putting our soldiers and the success of the mission at risk.
The entire operation was handled beautifully
Sure. Because you know the inner workings of this Administration.Apparently they didn't trust their Director of National Intelligence, who wasn't invited to the situation room for the strike.

Tulsi used to be a dem....Better safe than sorry.Apparently they didn't trust their Director of National Intelligence, who wasn't invited to the situation room for the strike.
Per usual, CNN was either intentionally lying or simply grossly inept.![]()
Trump administration briefed top Republicans before Iran strikes, but not some Democrats | CNN Politics
Trump and his team were in contact with top congressional Republicans before the strikes, but some top Democrats were not told of his plans until after the bombs had dropped.amp.cnn.com
President Donald Trump and his team were in contact with top congressional Republicans before his strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, but top Democrats were not told of his plans until after the bombs had dropped, according to multiple people familiar with the plans.
The top two Republicans in Congress, House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune, were both notified of the US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities ahead of time, according to multiple GOP sources.
But Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries received notifications shortly before the public announcement — and after the attack itself, people familiar with the notifications said. Sen. Mark Warner and Rep. Jim Himes, the top Democrats on the Senate and House intelligence committees, were similarly not told until after the strikes had occurred, sources said.
For the life of me, I can't imagine why Trump didn't tell the Dem leaders before the strike. It's almost like he doesn't trust them to put their country ahead of betraying it for cheap political gain. Weird, huh?...
They were put all back of the bus.![]()
1,000% Ratty KudosApparently they didn't trust their Director of National Intelligence, who wasn't invited to the situation room for the strike.
Do what again? Then why did they have to do it again on Monday?

The Director of DNI was in the Situation Room with the President while, this successful air strike happened.I know the Director of National Intelligence (the same one who prepares or gives the presidents daily brief) is a key member of the national security infrastructure.
Yet Trump didn't invite the DNI to the party.
Saw a post on X where someone noticed on Flightaware a bunch of tankers going east across the pond. And Trump fed them "dis-information" to boot!
"2 weeks", LOL, they must have thought that they were in the covid era. Talk about a bunch of rubes.![]()
Tulsi used to be a dem....Better safe than sorry.
Jokes aside there would be no real reason for her to be there.
The Director of National Intelligence (DNI) is a cabinet-level official responsible for overseeing and directing the implementation of the National Intelligence Program (NIP). The DNI serves as the principal advisor to the President of the United States, the National Security Council, and the Homeland Security Council on intelligence matters related to national security....
Lloyd Austin moment?Yet, wasn't invited to the table for some strange reason.
What table? She was literally in the Situation Room when the successful airstrike took place.Except the DNI is:
The DNI serves as the principal advisor to the President of the United States,
The DNI is also responsible for the presidents daily brief.
Yet, wasn't invited to the table for some strange reason.
If they don't trust the DNI to keep our nations secrets, than she's in the wrong job.
But Trump picked her. So he must know what he's doing.
Progressive Squad Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and a chorus of Democrats called on President Trump to be impeached after he decided to bomb top nuclear facilities of Iran — blasting the move as “unconstitutional.”
