Trump administration briefed top Republicans before Iran strikes, but not Democrats

Trump made the notification to comply with War Powers Act, but he was smart to hold off on telling the Dems until right before the mission was completed. It's clear the Dems would have leaked the intel, putting our soldiers and the success of the mission at risk.

The entire operation was handled beautifully

The traitorous Democrats hate Trump so much.
Any top secret information about an impending attack.
Will be immediately passed on to the enemy.
In the hope America will lose and make Trump look bad.

The remarkable thing about this entire operation is that there were no leaks. By not informing the Democrats they ensured that the opeation would remain classified and leak free.
Apparently they didn't trust their Director of National Intelligence, who wasn't invited to the situation room for the strike.

Then why did they have to do it again on Monday?

Sure. Because you know the inner workings of this Administration.

President Donald Trump and his team were in contact with top congressional Republicans before his strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, but top Democrats were not told of his plans until after the bombs had dropped, according to multiple people familiar with the plans.

The top two Republicans in Congress, House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune, were both notified of the US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities ahead of time, according to multiple GOP sources.

But Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries received notifications shortly before the public announcement — and after the attack itself, people familiar with the notifications said. Sen. Mark Warner and Rep. Jim Himes, the top Democrats on the Senate and House intelligence committees, were similarly not told until after the strikes had occurred, sources said.

For the life of me, I can't imagine why Trump didn't tell the Dem leaders before the strike. It's almost like he doesn't trust them to put their country ahead of betraying it for cheap political gain. Weird, huh?...

They were put all back of the bus. ;)
Per usual, CNN was either intentionally lying or simply grossly inept.

The WH reached out to both Schumer and Jeffries before the attack.

I know the Director of National Intelligence (the same one who prepares or gives the presidents daily brief) is a key member of the national security infrastructure.

Yet Trump didn't invite the DNI to the party.

The Director of DNI was in the Situation Room with the President while, this successful air strike happened.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard was inside the Situation Room Saturday when the U.S. military launched successful strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, a White House official confirmed to Fox News Digital Sunday morning.

A White House official confirmed Gabbard was in the room Saturday and that she is a "key player" on President Donald Trump's national security team.

A White House official told Fox News Digital on Tuesday afternoon that Trump and Gabbard are closely aligned and that the distinction being raised between Gabbard's March testimony and Trump's remarks that Iran is "very close" to getting a nuclear weapon is one without a difference.

The official noted that Gabbard had underscored in her March testimony that Iran had the resources to potentially build a nuclear weapon. Her March testimony reflected intelligence she had received that Iran was not building a weapon at the time but that the country could do so based on the resources it amassed for such an endeavor.

And Trump fed them "dis-information" to boot!

"2 weeks", LOL, they must have thought that they were in the covid era. Talk about a bunch of rubes. :laughing0301:
Saw a post on X where someone noticed on Flightaware a bunch of tankers going east across the pond.

Little did she know.

Except the DNI is:
The DNI serves as the principal advisor to the President of the United States,

The DNI is also responsible for the presidents daily brief.

Yet, wasn't invited to the table for some strange reason.
If they don't trust the DNI to keep our nations secrets, than she's in the wrong job.

But Trump picked her. So he must know what he's doing.

What table? She was literally in the Situation Room when the successful airstrike took place.

What are you even talking about?

Progressive Squad Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and a chorus of Democrats called on President Trump to be impeached after he decided to bomb top nuclear facilities of Iran — blasting the move as “unconstitutional.”

It cracks me up whenever any POL says it is unconstitutional but they never site the clause.

People familiar with the situation have told me personally...in other words whatever they are saying is meanless.
