Troops And Marines Deeply Troubled By L.A. Deployment; "Morale Is Not Great"

I've never seen someone so happy to have rat-fucked the country.

He's doing what we voted for him to do.

Your opinion of what is good for the country is about as valuable as a PETA recipe for brisket.

Right, you voted for him to rat-fuck the country.

Because clearly, the fact that the last time he brought us plague, riots and recession had no effect on you.

Now, Measles are back
We have riots in LA
and the country is sinking into recession again.

Good job with that ratfucking.

This started with rioters stopping ICE agents from enforcing valid US law on illegal immigration.

Wow, I really got your butthurt up, didn't I?

Are you saying Americans have a right to throw concrete at police officers and burn their vehicles?
I'm saying... that is the job of law enforcement within the USA. Even if they stumble at first, or reacted a little slow at first...

And the American people have a right to protest against our government...those FEW rioters...even hundreds out of 4000 peaceful protesters should be arrested...by local law enforcement. The governor decides when the National guard is used in this situation AND THE MILITARY SHOULD NEVER EVER BE CALLED UP, for something like this, that is clearly a small domestic issue...yes small.

LOL, if that's all you got, ya got nuttin.

We have riots in LA because the left has nothing left to do but break things.

Keep pretending things are GOING SO SO TEWWIBUL!!!

No one believes you anymore, like no one believes the MSM.

FEW my ass. Stop that, it's fucking embarrassing. The guard has ALWAYS had a role in handling civil unrest.

The president can federalize the guard, and this was the right move because the LOCAL law enforcement refuses to come to the aid of federal law enforcement, over POLITCS.

Not small.

Yeah, and what was the situation, dummy?

Riots in the streets are terrible.

So is slipping into a recession.

But go wank off to your fake parade on Saturday, where Troops will be forced to participate in Trump's ego stroking when they'd rather be doing something useful.

And go slink in your anti-American hate, you nihilistic psychopath.

The guard called up by the GOVERNOR, not without him... WHAT PART OF US BEING A REPUBLIC, do you not understand?

The Guard can be nationalized as per title 10. One of the reasons is to support federal law enforcement in the execution of their duties. ICE is federal law enforcement, and the locals have decided not to help them even if they are being attacked by rioters.

Are you saying title 10 doesn't exist?

Were any ice agents hurt?

Post title 10

It would be a very bad look if a Marine or Guardsman shot a civilian. Their commanders understand this, which is why it will be avoided.

But all it takes is one idiot who just got live rounds for the first time outside a range.

Good point.

This is why protesters need to stand back and let ICE do their job.

No problem with protesting, but when federal agents are blocked from doing their jobs, there is a problem. A peaceful picket line for the MAMA movement "Make America Mediocre Again" in front of the LA federal building is fine. The people will get the message.

But the problem is in trying to "force" your policies on others.

They were being prevented from executing their legal orders. "Being hurt" doesn't matter.
President Trump and members of the Trump administration have repeatedly and publicly declared that a takeover of the National Guard would be illegal.

Here’s the evidence

President Trump in 2020 regarding protests in Portland: “We have to go by the laws. We can’t move in the National Guard. I can call insurrection but there’s no reason to ever do that, even in a Portland case, we can’t call in the National Guard, unless we are requested by a Governor.”

Whether they like it or not, orders are orders.

I'll admit, this isn't what they signed up for.

The problem with using the National Guard for Civil Disturbance is that their training for it is very limited. When I was in the ILARNG a lifetime ago, we spent one day a year training for Civil Disturbance, usually the December weekend when we brought in our families to show them what we did on Weekends.

The Guard's biggest fear is that some idiot might make the same mistake that was made at Kent State. No one wants THAT to ever happen again.

The real problem in LA is the LAPD using excessive force, which has resulted in some protestors resorting to violence.
Oh bullshit...the real problem is the LAPD weren't ALLOWED to use any force until the situation had gotten totally out of control. The violence kept ratcheting up because that's what ALWAYS happens when you don't let them know right from the jump that it won't be tolerated!
