Back when I went to school...

We started on the Tuesday after Labor Day. We ended Memorial Day weekend. You got 10 days off or so between the end of December and January 2nd. You also got the last week of March off for Spring Break.

If you made 92-100% you got an A, 85-72 was a B, 75-85 was a C and 70-75 was a D. Below that was an F.

In sports, you competed against other students who had the same anatomy. As far as I know, anatomical features of humans hasn't changed in the last 3,000 years since I was in school. Did I miss something?

We need to get back to that. Make the school day longer...definitely; there is much more to learn these days. But stop it with your new approaches to the actual logistics of the freakin' school year and, specifically in this case, who competes against whom past the 6th grade.

There's an old saying. Knowledge is knowing the tomato is a fruit; wisdom is knowing not to put it in fruit salad. Knowledge may be knowing about gender differences etc... wisdom is making sure that nobody has an unfair advantage. Like I said; it worked pretty damn well for a very long damn time. School administrators need to sh!tcan all of this mixing of the genders in sports. Its flat out dumb.
