Agree with your description about the vice presidential nominee… to that point the vice presidential candidate could have an honorable service, but also at the same time lie about his military record, and additionally have very controversial viewpoint away from his military life. Like for example there could be a conservative who serves in the military but maybe after he got out of the military he robbed the bank or did something bad all of these things can be true at the same time.
