Trade Schools

I know quite a few young people that are happy they learned a skilled trade instead of being saddled with student loan debt.

That is because a trade school teaches you a SKILL in DEMAND. All a college degree gets you now is a piece of paper saying you graduated from their course with the hope of preferential treatment from the HR counselor at employers you hope are interested in people with that degree.

Problem is that it costs Americans at least TWICE as much to get a degree as any other country on the planet. Many countries, the government pays most or all of the cost.

Do you have any data to support that or are you just parroting RW media?
Can you show where Biden controls our schools?

Biden is the accountable resource .. which he profoundly announced that the "buck stops with him .." His administration

23 Baltimore schools have zero students proficient in math, state test results reveal

WBFF analyzed the results and found a shocking number of Baltimore City schools where not a single student is doing math at grade level.

“We're not living up to our potential,” said Jovani Patterson, a Baltimore resident who made headlines in Jan. 2022, when he filed a lawsuit against Baltimore City Schools. The suit claims the district is failing to educate students and, in the process, misusing taxpayer funds.

Trade schools produce hard skills ... college produces soft skills .. the service industry is booming because its a non cyclical market .. frozen pipes from the recent icepalysponse .. they got it ... Major IT industries are laying off resources in the thousands (100s of thousands).

which has not a damn thing to do with my post.

These people end up working at Zippy Lube or such.
I know college grads that work at fast food restaurants.

If it generates plumbers, electricians, HVAC and other related resources .. it's less expensive and produces much positive outcomes.

Many trade schools are only interested in getting students to fill out financial aid packages. They promise high paying jobs and accept anyone regardless of their prospects.

Like you said, not everyone becomes a Master Mechanic but end up changing tires or doing oil changes
You still end up paying off that loan
