KSA does not transport natural gas from the Middle East to Europe because it does not go to Europe.
SUMED does not transport natural gas from the Middle East to Europe because it does not go to the Middle East.
TAPLINE does not transport natural gas from the Middle East to Europe because it does not go to Europe.

The dishonesty of the OP is off the chart.

There are NO natural gas pipelines that exist to transport natural gas from the Middle East to Europe. None. Nada. Zip.

What's your next lie, surada ?

There is no gas pipeline yet, although I don't know what the word is on the new extension of SUMED . Saudi Arabia uses its natural gas.. Qatar won't do anything against Iran or Russia. So there is a possibility that someday gas from South Pars will be sold in Europe by the Russians.

There is nothing wrong with Russia selling gas to Europe. Its cheaper for the Europeans than buying gas from the US an they don't have to spend billions in infrastructure to accept and store it.

This is one of the reasons for the Syrian Civil War. More than half the land in Syria is dead and cannot bear anything. It has been affecting a majority of population since years. A lot of people are jobless because of this and there is nothing the Government could do about it.

Here is a list of 10 Reasons for the Syria Civil War
10. Economic Crisis
One of the ten reasons of the Syria war is the economic crisis. The economy of the country is just going down and there are no jobs, no employment and no cash flow as such. The living standard of the country has gone down; hence the Syrian liberals couldn’t take it more and started revolting.

9. Corruption
It is another reason for the Syrian Civil War. The place is so corrupted and there is nothing that a common man can do about it. The official people bears loyalty to nobody, and even for getting a birth certificate, the common Syrian has to bribe the people. This is how Syria became and there was nothing that was been done to get over it.

8. Clashes between the Sunni and Alawites
The majority of people in Syria are Sunni and then there are Shia and Christians. There is no proper culture. The family of the government in itself is mixed. The man of the family is Alawite and is married to Sunni woman and the family decedents are Syrian Kurds. The major reason for this war is the clashes between these religious groups.

7. Unruly Military Actions
The Military has taken a step forward, and today they do not really wait for a superior to command them. they do what they feel is right and they started treating civilians like nothing. They are killed, detained, bombed and the army doesn’t give any reasons.

6. Human Rights
There are human rights in the country, like in every country. But in Syria it is a bygone story. Anyone who tries to do anything is detained or killed. There is no right to freedom, expression, assembly or anything. People cannot roam around in the city in a group of more than 4 people, if found, they are just taken into custody.

5. Foreign Intervention
Russia has been supporting the people of Syria from a long time, and other countries are showing support to the other groups of the country. It is no more a war of just Syria, Russia stepped in and so did US who is supporting the other group. And in such a situation it is difficult for the UN to take any step.

4. Militant in Syria
The militants in the country are another major reason for the unending war. A lot of groups like Al-qaeda, ISI are having their own groups and agendas and are fighting in this war and there is just fear in the country.

3. Drought
This is one of the reasons for the Syrian Civil War. More than half the land in Syria is dead and cannot bear anything. It has been affecting a majority of population since years. A lot of people are jobless because of this and there is nothing the Government could do about it.
Can't believe that "wrong pipeline was selected for right-of-way through Syria" wasn't the top reason. These things are usually about money.

Who wanted a pipeline thru Syria? Qatar? Doesn't matter what Qatar wanted.. They share the South Pars gas field with Iran and Iran is the top dog.
Qatar, UAE, all of Europe and US. But it's really about reducing reliance on Russian gas imports.

No idea. But it's from a 4 week old article from GreekCityTimes.com about how the Iran-Iraq-Syrian Friendship Pipeline could consolidate Greece as a Natural Gas Hub for Europe

Why do you ask?

KSA wants no part of a gas pipeline thru Syria.. They did that from 1950 thru the early 1980s.. too unstable .. too much sabotage. Qatar answers to Iran.

Might be wishful thinking on the part of the Greeks.
In the context of this thread - i.e. the reason for the fighting in Syria - it's not about bringing Iranian and Iraqi gas to Europe, it's about blocking Qatar, UAE and Saudi from exporting gas to Europe and eroding Europe's reliance on Russian gas imports.

LOLOL.. KSA has had the east west pipeline for 25 years.
No offense, but I think you might be smoking crack.

The one thing that is intentionally being kept from the public is that this war is over a pipeline that Saudi Arabia and Europe and Biden want built that is being blocked by Assad so they want to remove him and replace him with someone who allow them to build the pipeline across Syria.

Yep, and Putin is gaining a lot form the EU dumping LNG imports from the U.S. as well; Merkel is a Putin fan, and wants to help him extort Europe indefinitely. The fact that scum like Putin supports Assad is enough to understand why there was a civil war in Syria.

Yep, and Putin is gaining a lot form the EU dumping LNG imports from the U.S. as well; Merkel is a Putin fan, and wants to help him extort Europe indefinitely. The fact that scum like Putin supports Assad is enough to understand why there was a civil war in Syria.
Right. They can always liquefy the gas and tanker it in but Europe is not too keen on that idea. That's a lot of tankers.

Don't know about the Merkel connection so I can't say. But it's pretty clear the war is about pipeline access. Too bad no one wants to be honest about it.

They just backed out of building an LNG port and returned to expanding the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
Europe's other option would be shale gas but they don't want that either.

You have no idea what I'm talking about. TAPLINE is closed.

There is no gas pipeline yet, although I don't know what the word is on the new extension of SUMED . Saudi Arabia uses its natural gas.. Qatar won't do anything against Iran or Russia. So there is a possibility that someday gas from South Pars will be sold in Europe by the Russians.

SUMED is a joint venture between KSA, Egypt, Kuwait and the UAE to Alexandria on the Med. .

There is nothing wrong with Russia selling gas to Europe. Its cheaper for the Europeans than buying gas from the US an they don't have to spend billions in infrastructure to accept and store it.
Again... there is NO WAY for Middle East Gas from Saudi Arabia to get to Europe.

You are writing things that have no bearing on this. It's almost like you are a Saudi sympathizer and provocateur.

The Saudis are behind the war in Syria.

She is a Saudi; they can lie about who they are, the Koran in fact encourages lying to 'infidels'. It's a book aimed at bandits and murderers, after all, and its political ideology is also why the ME is just as busy murdering each other as it is Jews and Euros, and anybody else stupid enough to tolerare them in their countries.
If Merkel is a Saudi sympathizer, then I'm pretty sure she supports the overthrow of Assad and opposes Putin.

Merkel is not a Saudi supporter; I said Surada is. Merkel is definitely in favor of a lean toward Putin over the U.S. She and her Party will also probably lose the next election, so she is in a hurry to lock the Nord Stream in solid.

Europe has lots of options; a pipeline from Libya, imports via ship, and nuclear power, the latter being the best option. The Right in Europe is getting more popular as the left wing nutjobs continue to screw everything up they touch; they don't want to be kissing Putin's ass every winter for eternity.

Yes, they have other options and I agree nuclear is a great option, if they use electric furnaces instead of gas furnaces (which I doubt they do). I'm not sure if Libya can supply the rate they need though.

What is the date on those drawings?

And yes it's all about Russians being able to extort Europe, and ME countries as well, via their puppet state Iran.

Russia needs to sell their gas. They can't eat it.
Correct. And they use it as a strategic leverage which Europe would like to end. Russia supplies 40% of Europe's gas. This is not a good situation for Europe. Europe totally supports overthrowing Assad so a pipeline can be built so that they do not have to rely on Russian gas.
