Now, now, I'm sure all the evidence that the Federal government was responsible for the assassination is in their somewhere that they just gave us.
We just need to look hard for it and then find a really good lawyer to throw the entire federal government in jail.

Anyway, there are some things we'll never know. Much of the truth about Oswald disappeared while in FBI custody. For instance, James Hosty destroyed the entire Dallas file on Oswald the day after Ruby shot him.
J Edgar Hoover was wiretapping Sam Giancana and many other mob figures. It's inconceivable that he didn't know what was going on. For whatever reason, he felt the need to destroy all the details of Oswald's history.
Most likely "protecting the Deep State", is my guess. But what do I know. I study molecules, not assassinations.

Here's something we can do with the existing evidence: feed it into a quantum computer.
Quantum computers work on the principle of "superposition", which means all possible realities exist.
There's a company called D-Wave that uses a technology called "quantum annealing". Basically it finds the lowest energy states in a dataset, so in this case it would presumably find the "most likely" scenarios or explanations.

And just as important, it would rule out the ones that aren't likely. For instance much has been made of the possibility of a "second Oswald", as in Armstrong's book Harvey and Lee. And while it is likely that Oswald was impersonated at some point (like perhaps in Mexico City), the idea of a bunch of Oswald doppelgangers running around the country is a bit absurd. But what is the actual likelihood? Quantum annealing can quantify it for us. It can list the likely scenarios in order of probability.
And, statements like "Jack Ruby had no association with the mob" will end up with 0% probability.
