Tom Brady says no one is allowed to touch his balls

If playing with the deflated balls was "cheating" and done on purpose, then why did the Patriots play better with the balls filled to requirement? This whole thing is stupid, doesn't really make any sense, and is being blown way out of proportion.

We don't know that the balls that were being played weren't deflated then air was added near the end of the game.

"Focus on the loosest brick in Brady's version of events -- or non-version of events -- that took down the whole house. The quarterback said more than once that a ball at 12.5 psi felt like magic in his hands, and it made sense. Any elite craftsman or artist or athlete could tell you that the tools of his or her trade are not interchangeable parts. Right before a performance, Jimi Hendrix would've known if he'd been handed something other than his most reliable guitar.

But Brady claimed that the NFL game moves so fast, he doesn't have time to worry about the weight or feel of the ball once the bodies start flying. "I get the snap," he said, "I drop back, I throw the ball."

How so? It is the most logical possibility to account for the balls ending up within regs. What was to stop the equipment guys for "preparing" the footballs to meet Tommy's standards at the start of the second half..then taking a few seconds to add air just before the game is over. It's not rocket surgery. Anyone with a cheap little ball pump could do it.

^^^

Too bad for you, dumbass, that is regulation 12.5 to 13.5 PSI.
Have another dinkie mister. The balls were significantly less than what Sparkleboy claimed to be his ideal weight yet he acts much like you.... DUMB.

Because they were tested at half time and again at the end of the game. I'm sure you must have seen that link already too.

Who had custody of the game balls between the start of the second half and the end of the game?

Game, set and match.

OMG, you've really lost it with your Patriots delusion syndrome now. That's is nothing but hilariously stupid. You must be like 12.

also, if you notice, both times the colts noticed the feel of a deflated ball was after an interception, which obviously must mean that the deflated ball tactic, as it were, would be theoretically a failure as evidenced by the interceptions while deflated!

 Very astute point. Intentionally letting the air out of the balls would be a risky move. No matter what, the other team is always going to have a chance to fondle the deflated balls.

You seem childishly desperate to defend something obviously not defend-able.

I'm not worried about the Patriots cheating at all. They won't be able to at the Stadium in AZ. They are not in the Seahawk's conference let alone division. You need to look at fans of the other teams in your own division to find fans with a dog in that fight.

Frankly it is an advantage to the Seahawks to play a team that got where they are by cheating teams in their home stadium mostly and in other stadiums where they figured they could get away with it.

Left without these cheesy cheating devices the Patriots are at a distinct disadvantage. Let's see how they do against a team that doesn't have to resort to underhanded tricks to win.

We will have much to discuss later after the Super Bowl concerning the long term effects of this ball deflation business.

No doubt some past disgruntled ball boy will come forward with tales of how he was threatened and forced to comply with Brady's and Belichick's demands to break the rules regarding football pressure.

All of these individuals are documented along the way. Over the years there have probably been more than 50 equipment personnel and ball boys .entrusted with the evidence the NFL will be seeking.

Your insistence of Brady's and the Patriot's innocence is charming but in the end it will prove to be foolish and silly.

The cat is already out of the ball bag.

Really? What "tricks" did Seattle use in last season's blow out of Denver, the best offense in NFL history?

You think only the Patriots do these things and not other teams? They ALL know about these things because they all do them from time to time.

And again, what difference in the game do you think the amount of air that was deflated from those balls helped the Patriots win any games? And again, you are completely ignoring the defense who also played an excellent game. So it doesn't even add up that they would do that on purpose. The amount of air that was let out was so LITTLE that you would not notice it. That is according to science.
