After what Brett Favre had to say, I can't help but wonder what frame of mind Toby had by the time that they talked on the phone that last time. Toby's decision to quit chemo makes me wonder if was trying to prove to the world that he wasn't afraid to die. If I am right, only in a way can I understand his feelings. Trust me, I know that cancer can put a person through the ringer, I've seen up close and personally what it does to a person, but if Toby did give up, to me, that wasn't fair to the rest of us who love him and now his family are the ones who are going through a nightmare that doesn't have an end.
