To whom does the land of israel belong??

It doesn't matter, 'Palestine' never belong to the Palestinians, Israel has the only claim by both controlling force over it, and the League of Nations..what about them? violent morons got what they deserved.

The League of Nations made a Jewish state in Palestine possible.

That stupid little piece of shit country belongs to whomever carries the biggest stick. In this case the Jews and their extortion of the U.S. taxpayer. When you have the biggest hammer, every problem looks like a nail.

You do know that the Palestinians get more from the US than Israel does via the UNRWA, around $10 billion a year. And every penny is spent on attacking Israel

I'd like links to both those statements. TIA.

It belongs to Israel. It was given to the Jews by the British.

Where did you get that?

Britain never owned Palestine.

They did, after WW1. Palestine was a mandate given to Britain by the League of Nations. The goal of the mandate was to use Palestine to set up a Jewish state.

The British did not have the authority to "give" the land to anyone, that was in the terms of the mandate. But the LoN of which Britain was a part did have the right to give the land to the Jews.

The land was owned by the Ottoman Empire until it was passed to the league of nations as reparations for WW1. This took place in 1919 and was called the Treaty of Versailles

The UK did not give Palestine (the territory formerly under Mandate) to the Israelis. Israel came about while under trusteeship to the UN, with the UN Palestine Commission (UNPC) as the successor government. Pursuant to the "Steps Preparatory to Independence" outlined in the General Assembly Resolution 181 (II), the Jewish People exercised their "right of self-determination" and declared independence at the moment the Mandatory relinquished control. It was a coordinated action between the Jewish Agency and the UNPC; in the planning since January 1948 and first meeting reported to the Security Council.

They were the only organisation that could do it, being the owners of the land. The British and French were just mentors and caretakers for the people living in Palestine at the time. Because if inbred ANTI SEMITISM in Britain at the time they were loathe to allow the Jews their free determination and inalienable rights to their land for the purpose of resurrecting THE JEWISH NATIONAL HOME IN PALESTINE as commanded in the mandate. That is why we have the problems we have today.

And if it was not for Israel none of that would exist.

Israel is a very expensive place for the US and the world.

Just some food for thought.

TO WHOM DOES THE LAND OF ISRAEL BELONG??

An ingenious example of speech and politics occurred recently in the United Nations Assembly.

A representative from Israel began:

'Before beginning my talk I want to tell you something about Moses.
When he struck the rock and it brought forth water, he thought, "What a good opportunity to have a bath!"

Moses removed his clothes, put them aside on the rock and entered the water.
When he got out and wanted to dress, his clothes had vanished.
A Palestinian had stolen them!

The Palestinian representative at the UN jumped up furiously and shouted,
"What are you talking about? The Palestinians weren't there then."

The Israeli representative smiled and said:
"And now that we have made that clear, I will begin my speech."
Cute but there's just one small problem. Moses wasn't born in the Holy Land, and never so much as even saw it from a distance. Do read your bible sometime...

Why Didn?t Moses Lead God?s People into the Holy Land? | Spiritual Insights for Everyday Life

1) Maybe YOU should read your Bible. Moses DID see Israel from the heights of Mount Nebo, across from the Jordan River.

2) It doesn't matter if Moses set foot in the Promised Land. The point of the joke is that there is no such thing as a Palestinian people.

Absolutely true. None of Palestine was given to the Israelis.

Israel came about while under trusteeship to the UN, with the UN Palestine Commission (UNPC) as the successor government.
Where was this UNPC when it was to secure the territory in its trust?

Pursuant to the "Steps Preparatory to Independence" outlined in the General Assembly Resolution 181 (II),
What coordinated steps did the UN take for these preparations?

the Jewish People exercised their "right of self-determination" and declared independence at the moment the Mandatory relinquished control.
Relinquished control to the UNPC not to Israel.

It was a coordinated action between the Jewish Agency and the UNPC; in the planning since January 1948 and first meeting reported to the Security Council.
The declaration of Israel was a unilateral move by the foreign Jewish agency inside Palestine without receiving any land to put their state. (see above) Israel still remains inside Palestine on Palestinian land. It is an alien entity inside Palestine.

Again, receiving land was not a relevant issue for Israel DOI. That is a pre requisite that YOU MADE UP. And no, Israel does not sit on Palestinian land in Palestine. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Israel has internationally recognized borders with Egypt and Jordan. Israel is a sovereign state recognized by the UN. Even the PA recognizes Israel beyond the 67 borders.
In fact, Palestine is inside Israel.
Everything you said is the 'Tinmore' ideology, which means nothing in the real world.

Alien entity LOL!!

Laugh all you want.

Israel was declared by the foreign Jewish Agency that was formed in Zurich, Switzerland by the foreign World Zionist Organization. Much of "Israeli land" is controlled by the foreign Jewish National Fund that was created in Basel, Switzerland in 1901.

Of the 37 people who signed Israel's declaration of Independence, only one was born in Palestine and he was the son of immigrants. The vast majority of Israel's population were foreign settlers who were imported by the foreign World Zionist Organization.

Here's the problem Tin,
You are constantly pulling non-sequitur documents out of your ass and no one with more than one brain cell left wants to do the hours of research to discover all of your latest bullshit.

On the other hand, we have the EXTREMELY knowledgeable and honest RoccoR.

Nevertheless, Israel will continue forever. If you go to Dunkin' Donuts with that statement and $2.25, you might get a cup of coffee, though. :eusa_boohoo:
