Virginia was clearly violating federal election law. Conservatives in SCOTUS are giving permission to their ideologically aligned politicians to violate federal law. This is consistent with fascism. The law does not bind the actions of the “in group”.

This is very incorrect. What you’re failing to appreciate is that the nature of SCOTUS decisions varies depending on the case.

Sure, if SCOTUS says a law is unconstitutional, you can’t override it with another law.

But that’s not what SCOTUS cases are always about.

In the case of Dobbs, SCOTUS said that the constitution doesn’t protect the right to an abortion. They said the government can regulate it as they see fit. That means all the government had to do is pass a law that permits abortion up until viability like we had before the decision.
