Hard to believe the National Guard allowed that drip near a firearm
You need to know the function of the National Guard.
Many no-go's attend the same schools as the active-duty troops, but when it comes to unit preparedness, no-go's have a tendency to not be up to the same standards as even conventional units, much less the high standards of Special Ops units. Most of them serve part-time while holding down a civilian job.

It's quite common for a SGT in a National Guard unit to never have held a weapon anywhere other than range qualification, and most troops rarely handle a semi-auto 12 gauge shotgun. On the teams we usually used a Mossberg 590 pump action 12 gauge for door openings during urban warfare. A Berretta a400 shotgun is $2000 and not standard issue. The barrel is a bit long for room clearing anyway. But any time you buy a new gun you need to spend some time working the action and learning how to load and unload it safely, as well as tear it apart and reassembling it.

I like the vest. I have one with a liner. Its perfect for the summer lite winters we have here.

Sorry you're not a real shotgun shooter unless you have a Mossberg or Remington. 🤠
I have two Mossbergs and a couple of coach CZ-USA model side-by-side 12 gauges.
Berretta is a good gun. A bit expensive tho.

Tim Walz wouldn't be caught dead with anything less than a $2000 shotgun. But it doesn't matter how much you pay for it if you don't know how to operate it.

I personally don't care.....because I just collect them and only have my Mossbergs for home defense.
I have a modified Shockwave 590 that I mounted a light on.
