Personally, I would go for diesel, that would annoy the climate freaksWhen you put it that way I think I'll buy a second one.

Depends how fast you drive, up hill or down hill, and what weight is being towed. So that's a bit of string question.
No idea. No idea. No idea. How much on average? How big is the tank? What's the PSI?
I hear a lot of Venezuelans are crossing our Mexican border. I can’t blame them.Hansel and Greta
Socialist paradise, where everybody huddles together in misery.
What precisely does that have to do with electric vehicles?I hear a lot of Venezuelans are crossing our Mexican border. I can’t blame them.

Record Numbers of Venezuelans Cross the U.S.-Mexico Border as Overall Migration Swells
Record numbers of Venezuelans are crossing the U.S.-Mexico border as overall migration swells. Unlike the farmers and low-wage workers who come from Mexico or Central America, the Venezuelans include bankers, doctors and engineers.www.nbcdfw.com
Cubans too.
Obviously their Marxist socialist workers‘ paradise sucks.
No idea. No idea. No idea.
Do you want me to Google the answers for you?
Check on the post I was replying to.What precisely does that have to do with electric vehicles?
I am as well. New cars sold in the UK after 2030 have to be electric or hygrogen, I won't be far off fully retiring by then. So the plan is to get either new diesel car just before then, or a second hand one. If I had to get a car that's "allegedly" green, Lithium EV is NEVER on my list, so at worst, hydrogen, or hydrogen conversion. But hopefully, touch wood, I won't ever need electric or hydrogen cars. My kids are in their 20's and they're pretty pissed off that they'll be forced into crap EV's.Nah, I'd rather not pay more than twice as much to go less than half as far with hydrogen.
I'll stick to the cheaper, safer, much more energy dense gasoline.

The target to install chargers is going dreadfully bad. They reckon they need 120,000 chargers by 2030 and we're up to 2,641. There are 31,695,988 registered cars in the Britain, a third can't charge from home, so technically you don't initially need a few million charge points to cater for a possible future 10,565,329 + EV's, but if they're a million miles away already, it doesn't look good.New cars sold in the UK after 2030 have to be electric or hydrogen,
It's good to hear that the UK is planning to have a bunch of extra electricity generation by then.
They'll need it .
I think the sales of new hybrids are banned from 2035 in the UK, it's full on mental over herePHEV's can run on electricity, gasoline, ethanol, nat gas, propane & hydrogen. It's the best way to avoid being screwed by any source. Also very efficient in city.

That's why if they want to press on with this looney climate idea, at worst, go for hydrogen.

No idea, here's the government link to say what they're doing with nuclear power plants -How much more nuclear electricity are they hoping to import from France
to charge all their new sparky cars?

I was at a property where we had to move the house electric meter. The guy from the electric utility company said that large cities like Manchester and London would struggle getting EV charge points because they're on the largest cables. Further up North where everyone is spread out, it's easier to upgrade cable size.
I think there's a niche for EV's.Yes, they're only 17% to 30% less bad than an ICE vehicle. That's not factoring in how bad they are on your wallet too.
Do you think they're good?????
Yes, the few can afford a Tesla, they live in a house with a drive and/or garage, and their type of job allows them to have an EV, then they're the ideal candidate. But the many don't have the lifestyle of the few. If EV's are so fantastic, they should compete with ICE vehicles, I mean, EV's are so good, it's a no brainer to buy one and everyone is clambering about trying to buy one. Even the governments feel they're that good, they're having to ban new ICE vehicles to force people into this fantastic EV market.I think there's a niche for EV's.
I was more thinking of the niche of people who have money and feel guilty for having money.Yes, the few can afford a Tesla, they live in a house with a drive and/or garage, and their type of job allows them to have an EV, then they're the ideal candidate. I think EV's should be taxed per mile to pay for solar panels and wind turbines, say 45p per mile.
