Time for the OAS to debate a Police Action?

The coalition of American States is the proper organization to legally intervene in rogue governments, or ineffective governments when the citizens of a country, or several countries are living in a dangerous situation.

Why should the US act alone? Why are so many attacking the families which flee from such a situation? Why the fear mongering that the thousands on the road at this time are a threat to the United States? Why do some want to use guns against those fleeing violence?

Maybe Trump will direct the OAS American Ambassador (Carlos Trujillo) to introduce a debate of the OAS nations to send resources to protect the citizens in Central America from their own corrupt or ineffective Government.

The UN has been effective in numbers of areas, I'm surprised you've tossed out that far right meme. Both the UN and OAS have been more effective than G.W. Bush's coalition of the willing and Reagan's war on drugs (maybe Trump or the first lady need to simply tell those people heading north to "just say no" to murders and crime gangs in their home state).

Anyway, I digress. Why not try to lead a solution, and commission the ambassador to the OAS to seek, with the support of all the nations of the America's, to work together to restore human rights in the region?

thats your opinion wry....the UN might be good at feeding people but they suck at stopping violence in third world countries.....the UN security council is a joke,some of the most powerful countries on the planet that get together to eat lunch...and if they wanted to intervene to stop violence somewhere just one of the permanent members can stop that intervening just by vetoing their proposal because that member might have something to lose if they intervene....some security council....
