The most sane thing we can do to gain some equilibrium in our economy is to eliminate the income tax and just have a sales tax. It would work brilliantly because the wealthy could either pony up for the Cessna, million dollar homes and exotic vacations I can never afford and pay a hefty sales tax, or just be stuck with groceries and dry goods at WalMart with the rest of the unwashed.
