There are according to SPLC 940 Hate Groups across the USA.
Many of them armed and form militia's.
White supremacist hate groups have increased 55% since Trumps presidency in 2016.

I am all for free speech, but in what way can it benefit a society to allow these self confessed anti-Government, anti-democratic and anti-everybody who is not like them, bigots to prance around wielding lethal weapons en masse.

This couldn't and wouldn't happen in any other civilised country in the world.

The US Government is elected by her people. People may question that, but forming militia groups, and directly threatening the government is simply crazy to those of us in the rest of the civilised world.

All these groups should be labeled terrorist, and imprisoned.


One day the US Government will suffer what happened when 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate was left un monitored for years in Beirut, except with liquid gas it does not declare its intentions. These terrorists do and should be eradicated,

The SPLC no longer has any credibility. The criteria they use to determine that a group is a hate group is ridiculous.

As for some groups spouting anti-government rhetoric, well, that is their right, as laid out in the Constitution.

Censuring “hate speech” is a slippery slope because then it becomes a question of what constitutes hate speech. If we go down that road then there will be no turning back and the innocent will be prosecuted right alongside the neo-Nazis.

Agree. Private companies can do what they wish, but but the government should not be doing this. Who decides what constitutes hate speech and when does dissent become hate speech?

Simple you have a simple set of laws that define hate speech.
You do anyway to a very limited degree here (USMB). You can't call someone a p***. I have never read anyone use the N word to describe blacks. Whether that's a rule or people just don't do it I don't know. Why not extend it to include 'Mussies', 'Commies', 'Faggots', etc. All of which are derogatory and would make for far healthier conversations.

As far as the law goes it is quite simple. In the UK you can't openly criticise anybody based solely on their race, religion, creed or culture or make derogatory remarks based on such.

Of course, it needs to be taught in your schools after all it is only following Christian teaching - 'All men are equal!'

Thank you, once again, for reminding us Americans why we kicked you British filth out of our country almost two and a half centuries ago, and why the very first Amendment ratified into our Constitution explicitly affirms and protects the right to freedom of speech, specifically to prevent the kind of tyrannical bullshit that you wish to impose on us.

Ah, but there’s the rub. There would be no such thing as a “simple” set of laws to define hate speech. At least, not in this country and not in the current social and political climate.

In case you haven’t noticed, there is currently an Inquisition-like atmosphere percolating in this country right now about racism and to a somewhat lesser degree in your own country. Anti-racism has become the new religion and the new standard by which others are morally judged.

People are being accused of racism simply for belonging to a political party. Enacting hate speech laws in the current climate would be disastrous, foolish, inane and eminently idiotic.

Christian teaching is precisely one of the main things people are being judged for today. The new generation does not look fondly on religion in general and on Christianity in particular. This is just another reason for these people to persecute .

None of those groups destroyed cities for 7 months, murdered 30 Americans or destroyed court houses and police stations...or took over areas of American cities setting up their own governments...... the democrat party brown shirts did all of that.....blm, and antifa.....they were also the ones who vandalized the Capitol on Jan. 6.
