I always liked Capt Kirk, the Vikings seem to be one of those teams that gets close but no cigar.

My entire life I have watched promising seasons end in a fizzle during the playoffs.

There commentators said the game would come down to the last possession b/c neither team's Defense showed up until it absolutely had to! The Giants played their usual ball grinding game of "keep away" w/ long sustained drives!
